Um, it's been a pretty long time since I wasn't able to do that. =\
And congrats on not being depressed and stuff. I still am. =(

I figured that being depressed won't help my problems.

I believe problems precede the depression.

But depression usually perpetuates problems.

The way I see it, if you're always happy, you'll never have any reason to keep making things better. If I'd never have been depressed, I'd probably be content, but not the best I could be. Hardship is actually your friend, because without it, you'd never have an opportunity to develop self-discipline or a resistance to unhappiness.

That's straight Nietzsche there. Without hostility, humanity cannot progress.

I like that the Zune 30's have all shut down today, the last day of the leap year.
I also love Microsoft's response: http://zuneinsider.com/archive/2008/12/3...pdate.aspx
I like how when you go to check your XP, the section is called Banking and Loans. =P

I guess its because of the time change already, but I didn't have a problem with my Zune. I'm pretty sure Erin used it earlier on the 31st as well, since I just tested it and she was halfway through a Paramore song. I don't know for sure if its a 30gb one, never really think about it since I don't have a large music collection right now, but its one of the original launch ones.
--- Yesterday, I was walking into the shower and felt this intense pressure in the swell of my palm, bottom of thumb area. My blood vessel there tends to stay a dark blue color (doesn't happen on my left hand) and just always seems a hell of a lot more noticeable. Well, it hurt for a second, enough to make me look at it and wince, and then it just kinda popped. So a tiny red spot appeared and the swelling went down. I'm kinda weirded out by it, because at work a couple weeks ago, I felt it pressure up like that as well and hurt. I looked on the net, and pretty much everything says that minor vessels popping in your fingers and hands are normal, due to usage, even if at random unworked moments. So I'm not freaking and calling a doctor, but my family does have a history of Factor Five (clotting disorder) that probably means I have circulatory problems. However, I also use my right hand for literally everything, from using my mouse (quite frequently, which is a major underexageration), writing with a pen at work, carrying trays (which bears the weight on that exact spot and my fingers, and are very heavy, so I am fairly sure that is where any circulatory issues are from, the fact that they can close my vessel while carrying stuff due to weight), everything. I'm just very right handed, and with carrying trays the way I do, it works that hand a lot. That spot especially. So I'm just passing it off as "normal random annoyance" even though its sore now. Erin has had them pop in her legs and feet a lot from just standing around at her job on her feet all day, so she wasn't concerned. I mean, I'm on my feet the entire time I work as well, but I'm pretty much in a walking or even jogging motion that entire time, so... yeah.

I've never, ever, noticed a blood vessel pop. Ever.
Maybe that's food for thought, maybe not. :p ![]()

Standing all day at work is a real bitch. It doesn't hit you until you've done it for multiple days in a row, but it can suck.
If you're moving about for most of that time, though, it's not so bad. ![]() Mal Nova Wrote:I do apologize for using the word rape. There are four separate definitions for the word rape, two of which describe vegetation...

I like that Celebrity Big Brother starts in 15 minutes. The only guy I'm really looking forward to seeing is Vernon Troyer. I hope he gets drunk like he did in that other reality tv show I saw him in, but which I can't remember the name of. In that show he ended up getting naked, riding his scooter around the house mumbling incoherantly, and then peeing in a plant pot. *Crosses fingers*

I guess since it hasn't had anything new in like 2 years though that's ok. ![]()

The Sopranos is probably my new favorite show ever. Season 6, Episode 3 just made me cry.
