I like watching this guy bluff hand after hand, knowing he's bluffing while not getting the cards to challenge him, then finally getting some decent hands while as my chip stack slips to 300. I double up twice against him, calling his full out bluffs, then pull in another two thousand chips after calling him out again, on two bluffs. He's still the chip leader by a huge amount (he's got 32000 on the final table, while I've only got 4000) though. Everyone keeps folding the moment he puts money down on the table.

Lucky rivers can suck my 'nads. There's a 1 in 13 chance of a particular value being dealt on the river. So I go all in, they go all-in. I've got two Kings, they've got two sevens, everything looks peachy. A Queen gets dealt on the river, giving them two pair.

It sucks, and I know it happens, but I'll be fucked if this doesn't happen to me every other game. I know my math.

People overestimate how much of poker is about skill. Yeah, it's important to be good at it, and there's a huge difference between a good player and bad player, but it's still called gambling. There's a reason for that.

Because to hate requires you to love (for example, if you hate murderers it's perhaps because you love life), whereas apathy is total emotionlessness.
