Idea for Kaioken
#1
To give it its own unique place as opposed to just being a superior powerup:

It is a single ability, which you buy once. I'd suggest for 100 XP (or whatever), and it would require that you complete King Kai's training. Once you purchase it, its multiplier is dependent on your base CA, and upgrades itself without any additional costs or training required:

0-999 CA: 1.5x
1000-1999 CA: 2x
2000-2999 CA: 2.5x
3000-3999 CA: 3x
4000-4999 CA: 3.5x

It's cheaper than buying the original powerup, assuming you're given King Kai's training. So it allows you to raise your CA by spending on other things. But it will cap out at 3.5x. I think it's a fair tradeoff, and makes Kaioken an option very differentiated from the regular powerups. I did debate adding a 4x, but I think that would just make regular powerups redundant.

Anyway, down to you guys.

Honestly, I think that Kaioken makes normal powerups redundant, as the multipliers are higher. I know you have to be dead and to train with KK, but that doesn't bother me. As it is, I'm not going to buy regular powerups and just wait till I die and hope that I go to his planet.

That was part of the rationale behind changing it. Another idea is to remove the cost entirely and make it a free tech for training with Kai, alongside Spirit Bomb.

Speaking of Spirit Bomb, are we keeping the negative version that I think Dabura trained people? That whole levels of hell idea was pretty sweet.

You can earn Kaio Ken in addition to regular power ups, so you don't have to sit there and wait until you die. 'cause it's pretty likely that no one is going to get to King Kai's for a while. And that's not a bad idea, Rosie. See what other people think of it.

I'd be a little biased, since I came up with the levels of Hell idea, but I wouldn't be opposed to keeping them, or the Revenge Deathball (the negative Spirit Bomb). In addition to earning another level down as you defeat the Guardians, seven of the Guardians could be holding a Spirit Dragon Ball. That's just me though.

I only think that going to King Kais should be pretty rare. Right up there with your chances of obtaining all the Dragonballs.

I don't understand most of the specifics so, I can't really comment...

Nobody: I love the idea of an evil equivalent to the spirit bomb/etc.

I say use it, yo.

I've always liked the idea of a negative spirit bomb too, and I think Rose's KK idea is great.
