Don't worry, I have the same issues on Arygos right now and had it on Destro. So I moved my horde characters (which I pretty much don't play right now) to Drak'tharon when it opened free transfers (it was low pop, they wanted to free up queue times). Now DT has the same waits when I switch over there.

It's hard for WoW to wane. It isn't a static entity, but like unto a living document. The WoW of today is a very different game from the one at launch, with a completely different design philosophy and goal.

I think some news article mentioned somewhere that a company would have to invest a billion dollars into the development of any new MMORPG to make it competitive with WoW.

The good thing about this is that Blizzard will keep creating kick ass expansions for the game probably 5 years from now with this kind of popularity. It seems as if every expansion they release just makes the game way better than before rather than just adding new content.

Eh, it won't last forever. All of these feelings were directed at EverQuest before WoW was what finally took its throne. Something else will take the throne of WoW and most people won't even remember the game.

Money will have very little to do with whoever manages to take WoW's spot. Someone will just have to be in the right place at the right time. Like WoW was.
