That didn't answer the question!

Does honesty earn respect or inspire revenge? Is it smarter to attack the strong or annihilate the weak?

...the teachers maybe?

There were school sluts, trust me. Sadly, they weren't the teachers. Although there was a rumour running around that an English teacher had an orgy with three 5th year boys.

You play American football at an English university?
They ought to shut it down.

Let's ban sport from universities altogether, right?

I actually think they should.

I think that, overall, sports detract from the purpose of higher education, that's all. I don't really feel the need -- nor do I have the desire -- to defend my opinion. Just wanted to voice that not everyone thinks sports, in universities, are a good thing.

I will say, however, that they bring a lot of money to schools that they can't get elsewhere.

Not here they don't. University sports are nothing more than amateur.

Fighting to the bitter end is an advantage when your opponent does not wish to perish.

Being a British cliché is just as much about the way you word your sentences as it is the accent. Thus when you read something like "hmph, I grow most weary of this troublesome waiting" your mind fills in the blanks and adds an appropriately stereotyped voice.

You guys are writers, you should know this =P

He's confusing being a cliché with being proper, but his point still holds.

I write a lot of my characters the same way, but I don't read any person on this site in any form of "verbal style". Maybe its just me, but I rarely attribute a voice to OOC typing, although in character is entirely different.
