Anyone able to tell me why Chubbs opened an uncloseable stream of popups for me earlier?

No idea. I haven't had any popups, and as far as I knew, we've never had popups on here.

Are you serious?

Alright, make absolutely sure that it wasn't your PM box informing you that people sent you a PM, or informing you of other stuff like XP changes. There's a lot of things it now notifies you of.

However, if its an ad for a site, please tell me all information you can regarding it. If true, I'm going to be highly pissed, because (to my knowledge) we have zero reasons to have popups on this site, and any such are either a virus on someone's computer doing it on its own with no real connection to here, or our host.

Pop ups can occur from files in your Temporary Internet Files folder and in your cache from other sites. And they can opened on any site you visit. Back in my days of Windows 98, this was an abundant problem. You don't see it much anymore. Like 98, XP has the same damn cache and temporary internet files folder. Vista has them as well.

Action to Take:

Purge both Temporary Internet Files and your Browsing Cache and let us know if you get them again.

It happened when I was visiting a myspace last month. Probably something involving that. Thanks. And it was a popup of a blank page, multiple times, not an add.
