I should point out that while I appreciate you all equating my opinion to law (it's how the world should be), Punisher 2 is the worst movie I've ever seen.

I'm sure there are far worse movies out there, I just haven't seen them. Hopefully I never will, because just thinking about what could be worse than what I watched yesterday makes me ill.

But seriously, I've seen black exploitation films with better acting and plot than this movie.

On the topic of movies I enjoyed recently, Burn After Reading was pretty good. Between that, The Ladykillers, and No Country for Old Men, the Coen brothers are on my top list of directors. Which is odd because I liked all of those movies separately before knowing they were all directed by the same dudes.

They had the original Street Fighter movie at Walmart when I was there a few days ago. I went ahead and bought it so I could see just how terrible it was.

On the note of terrible movies, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation takes the cake for me.

I hate how I could notice the budget cut for the second Matrix movie. Having seen it 100+ times, I still puke during the huge Agent Smith fight when some of his moves are done with cheap animation.

Actually, the first Matrix film was done with the smallest budget of the three, and the special effects budget was substantially increased for the second film. "Bullet time" was a cheap way of using multiple still-frame photos linked with CGI instead of a full-blown and costly CGI sequence. The second movie was a harsh regression of using stereotypical movie magic to make 100 Smiths, and when it would slow down for the "bullet time" effect the ugly faux Smiths are that much easier to see. I remember that when it first came out I was ridiculed for "not getting it" if I complained, but I still stand by my belief that bullet time and CGI character models should not be mixed.

I hate Final Fantasy XII. I've been playing this bullshit off and on for almost a year. It's not a terrible game by any means...I just hate it because I have 70+ hours of game time (half of that is senseless grinding I did over the summer when I had no classes and nothing better to do) and I'm pretty sure I still have a handful of areas to go through before this shit is over. And, of course, the boss I'm at is hanging me my nuts on a platter. I just want to be done with this shit so I can finally move on.

For those of you secretly chronically my life, I beat FFXII a couple of minutes ago. The last few boss fights were actually enjoyable as I finally had all the cool shit like Bubble and Curaja and whatnot.

I thought the ending (as with most of the game) was meh. There were only two characters I liked, and the 'main' character (if you can really call him that) was even more of a tool than Tidus.

Time to go back and finish Silent Hill 5.

Heath Ledger won.

It's weird because all year, up until today, I felt as though he was a shoe in. But today I watched The Wrestler, and Mickey Rourke played the fuck out of that role.

Oh well. They couldn't pass up the opportunity to give Heath the Oscar, given that he died so young and wouldn't have another chance to win one.

He deserved it anyway, just saying.

FTR, Heath won 'Best Supporting Actor'. Either Brad or Mickey will get 'Best Leading Actor'.

That would be awesome, Mickey deserves an Oscar.

I haven't watched an Oscar award show, if I had known Heath was getting a Oscar I'd have tuned in just to see what clip of Batman they would have shown if they even do that.

I hate the in class writing we have to do in one of my courses, it's pretty fucking easy but when I write my thesis and then start writing my body paragraph I realize my thesis needs to change so it can match what I wrote...but by the time I get ready to change it she collects papers(gives us fifteen minutes to write) and plus I haven't even completed my writing.

Fucking sucks. I'm going to talk to her about it tomorrow because I know my hand writing sucks so I write slow so she and the other instructor who reads it can understand it.

I like feeling good. Chances are I'll have a good sleep tonight but tomorrow will be fucked up...damn I hate that shit. I fucking hate it.

Bowman gives it a "Waste of Time Star", but he does hate most of everything.
