Here's the story:

Girl steals parent's car in the middle of the night. Parents call police reporting stolen vehicle. Girl gets busted. Girl treats arresting officer like shit the entire time, calling him a fat pig, etc. Eventually, she gets put in a cell. Cop has to take her shoes (people hide shit in their shoes a lot I guess?). Girl kicks shoe at the cop and it hits the cop.

That's assaulting a police officer.

Cop has had enough and brings the mutha-fuckin' pain. Girl gets what she was asking for. ~ Fin.

It would heavily depend on what exactly she did or said. Like, don't get me wrong, that sucks regardless and there isn't excuse, but we're only getting like, 10% of the story

Look at her body language. When the cop asks her for her shoes, she snaps around with her arms crossed. That's defiance. Then she kicks her shoes at the cop. This girl was a total brat. Police have to deal with idiots all the time and they are legally allowed to aggressively use force to deal with said idiots, so don't piss them off and they won't punch you in the back of the head.

Everyone has to deal with idiots, and if police officers take the job because one of the perks is smashing some young girls face through a wall if they are "assaulted", which they do, then a fucking economic stimulus is the least of this country's problems.

This was a girl, firstly. And for the spineless losers that say that doesn't make a difference, she's also 14 years old. Moreso, being tapped on the thigh by a fucking Reebok doesn't warrant kicking, punching, slamming, slamming, punching, punching, dragging someone by their fucking hair. Yeah, cops are allowed to use aggressive force in a situation that warrants it, but nothing warrants excessive force ever.

If this limp-dicked asshole was mad that he couldn't win a verbal battle of wits with a teenage girl, then he should have gone home and brushed over some ghetto jargon and "yo-mamma jokes", not beat her like she had the nuclear codes in her vagina and was blackmailing him out of his pension.

The older I get the more I begin to despise the whole notion of law enforcement. Shooting unarmed kids 51 times, blowing a woman's brains out the side of her head because she had a 3 Musketeers in her hand, it's fucking apparent that the police force, nationwide, is filled with racists, sociopaths, and Revenge of the Nerds wannabe's who are still afraid of their own shadow. But wow, it's not a problem, because they scored an equivalent of an 800 SAT score on the exam, and can do a pushup to within 3 inches of the floor. That makes them qualified to go around with loaded guns, and have the right to bludgeon young girls about the head.

And also, one thing to mention, however, Jack. You pointed out the 3 Musketeers thing. Think about the stress that these people are under every single time they approach a vehicle for a simple traffic stop. Imagine how tense they HAVE to be in case they are walking and the door pops open and suddenly their wife gets a letter saying they're now widowed. You can't blame them (entirely) over having extreme trigger fingers and twitch reflexes when they never know what to expect. There are police brutalities all over, yes, but that doesn't take into account the amount of times civilians might kill or beat the shit out of the cops as well. The world isn't a "they should always take the higher road" type place, I'm afraid, when taking the higher road results in your death a large amount of the time.

Don't get this confused with me saying "Beating the shit out of a girl is awesome!" either.

Fuck the badge, and the "law", a grown man repeatedly struck a girl half his age, size, and intelligence. People may think that's funny, or think she deserved it for being "lippy", but I doubt any of you would have these same opinions if it was your daughter, or sister, or even your mother. Cops think they can do anything they want after a certain point of law breakage, and that's bullshit.

Nothing justifies what happened there. And those who acknowledge that it wasn't justified, but still think that's just "common sense", he completely overreacted. She was in the fucking holding cell, all he had to do was close the door and go back to his miserable life. Not jump in and attack the girl to "teach her a lesson", or release the stress, or whatever-the-fuck it was that we witnessed. One thing is sure, what we saw was NO law enforcement. His job is to enforce the law, charging her with assaulting an officer would have had the same fucking effect, without the lawsuit and looking lie a douchebag on Youtube. Or, to some people, a hero, because it's obvious that girls from the ghetto think they run everything and need to be put in their place; lower class and subject to abuse from whoever feels they are being disrespected.

Do you think this would have happened had a 7 foot tall negro had kicked the shoe at him? Doubt it. He's a coward and is proof that some cops love the badge because they think it entitles them to a life of cowboy-movie-esque badassery. There are plenty of dope-dealing corners for them to roust, but that would be too much work and require too much balls, so they pull over cars with teenage girls in them, because that's obviously a more pressing issue.

This is worldwide, and I hate it. People ever thinking that violence is justified, save for the case of being in fear of their life, make me sick. "That bitch tossed a shoe at me and called me a pig, the resulting Chuck Norris whirlwind of fists and hair pulling was necessary."

The parents are douches for not making sure their daughter was home before calling the Cops. The Cop sounds like a prick, as I've not seen the video, and from the sound of it he should lose his job. I don't know if he was a coward, but an ass kicking over shoes flung by a fourteen year old is completely unwarranted. If he was going to crack under a tongue lashing he should've stayed the fuck out of law enforcement.

That criminal was 15 and female...special treatment should definitely be given to cars thieves that are 15 years old and female. No criminal should be made to suffer the same fate as the people they hurt and endangered during their high speed chase. Everyone go punch a cop so I can see more footage like this next week!
