Yeah, that was so much more badass in HD. I just hope that it doesn't really turn into that bad of a b rated movie where the acting is so disbelievable and corny you just wanna smack a bitch.

I didn't even notice that Roshi's house is apparently in the middle of a lake with a city built around it now.

We must have different definitions of gay, then. The fact that they went through the trouble to recreate that setting - a little house on an "island" barely large enough to hold it - which was one of those stylistically fantastical things about Toriyama's work, I think, speaks well of the film's intentions. Even if it ends up sucking, it looks like it's trying to stay faithful to the flavor of the manga/show.

Everytime I see a trailer I change my mind whether it's gonna suck or not. This time I say, it's gonna suck. HD is goot though.

I think I may just avoid this movie altogether. Even illegally downloading it for free off the blogotubesphere doesn't seem worth it.

HD *drools* got damn. Yea still going to see it in theaters...or online. I think I'll watch it online first then if I like it I'll go see it in theaters twice.

Yeah watching it online would be a better idea, to judge if blowing money on it is worth it.

It's going to suck if you go in there with the mindset of a rabid dragonball fan, you need to go in there as though it were just another action movie to enjoy it.

I've been telling myself that but it's going to be a little hard not to. They've had what seems like forever to make the movie 'properly' in the eyes of a DB/dbz fan and *sigh* they just didn't but hey at least they made it.
