It does look pretty great, but for some reason Final Fantasy XIII Versus appeals to me a bit more, so I think I'm more hyped for that. Needless to say I'll be playing both.

They're two completely different story lines set in the same world. I think that Versus battle system is supposed to be a bit different too, but I'm just going off what the Wiki said.

Meh, Final Fantasy just started boring me after 9. 10 was...okay 10-2 was not that great imo, and 12 I could never bring myself to finish, found it to be terribly boring. I'll probably buy 13, but if it's not good I'm done with Final Fantasy I think.

I have very high hopes for XIII and XIII Versus. XII was pretty poor, but with the amount of work going into this new game, I think it will be stellar. Hopefully.

I'm excited for Versus, if for no other reason than to experience the grit and blood which is so noticeably absent from other FFs.

Versus is an action rpg so it's going to be closer to Crisis Core/Kingdom Hearts type of gameplay as opposed to turn based like the other FF's.
