Question: ki related attacks.

So I'm kinda new here and am a bit confused on one thing. I picked Ki Specialization as one of my abilities. Does this mean I can shot random sort of low damage beams and balls of Ki where as if I wanted to throw something like a kamehameha or the like I would need the xp to purchase that custom tech? Or are custom techs something completely different that I'm not understanding?

Regardless of Ki Specialization, you'd need XP to purchase a kamehameha as it's regarded as a custom tech. Beams of ki and ki balls are considered basic attacks and thus can be used with ki control and ki specialization.
