It's rude and a little egotistical to put down what everyone else clearly enjoys just because you can't participate in the dialogue. You don't like the conversation? Stay out of it.

Belle: 90% of your post is focused on the single player game of it, and pretty much my entire post is directed to the multiplayer aspect. I've never played the single player, but the multiplayer is what I usually hear all the nerdgasms over. To me, its nothing more than the current Goldeneye, which means its probably an amazing game, but I don't think its as groundbreaking and innovative and the greatest idea ever like I keep hearing it is.

I'm not talking about how often someone shoots at another player, Jack. I'm talking about movement speed and general pacing of the game. I simply prefer the faster run speed of Unreal Tournament (and how quickly you jump in and out of vehicles) over what feels like a sluggish pace of Halo. Its like the difference in how movement feels when you stop playing City of Heroes and start playing WoW. I remember hating how WoW felt for that, and still prefer leaping high over buildings and all.

By the way, just to make sure this is seen, Valve is running a special on Left 4 Dead (PC) for only 24.99 this weekend. I'm going to be buying it (downloaded the free offline version for this Friday's special already to try it) so that I can jump into some multiplayer games with you guys.

And yeah... I'm making this post KNOWING, KNOWING, that a number of the responses will be to the effect of "PC sucks, we should totally play some XBOX LIVE".

I like to act mentally or physically handicapped around passerby. That's kinda the same thing as Mario (telling people the wrong time, if I remember correctly).

Being dishonest to get what you want or to sacrifice others to save your own ass is just lamesauce incarnate. I can't even stand to see kids doing that, and kids pretty much can't help it. Even still.
