The PS *is* a sinking ship. It's a monster of a platform to code for, and there frankly just aren't as many people buying PS3s.

There's no magic behind it. It's just a function of the install base.

I think if the PS3 had released at a SOMEWHAT competitive time as the 360 they'd still be in the running. People were all flipping shit that the new gen systems were coming out, and when 360 released first, that's what they fuckin bought. I know that's what I and the good majority of my friends did. PS3 was just too busy dickin around to get their system out on time, and it's biting them in the ASS.
