EDIT: That stuff is only cost in-effective if you never stop training troops.

My thoughts.

If someone else wants to lower certain costs for another round, that's fine, it'll happen then. I'm not about to derail this by changing everything around while its going on, that includes reducing costs. I'm not trying to make it so you can get everything quickly either. I understand the concern on if its cost effective, and yet I thought about it too. In the end, I decided I wanted to let it go a full round and see how things played out to get more understanding of those numbers for future rounds. I was especially hastened by the large number of people impatiently screaming for a reset for various reasons, so that's what we had to get going.

Does anybody even have any Training yet? How long is this round going to last? Sounds like changing Training costs mid-game is being blown out of proportion.

The initial training isn't that expensive, imo, and nobody should even have that. So I don't see the harm either.

And I think you have the wrong idea Ashe, no need testing a system that we can predict will be somewhat lame. And as this is the first round, shouldn't we aim for things being EASIER to get, then turn the numbers up as the round go on?

Doesn't really matter to me though, it's not like the system is unbalanced, we're just all missing out on the same thing.

Ok, the point is that I'm not tweaking numbers during the middle of the round. If you two seriously think "Ok, this round is going to be shitty and lame", I don't really care. My goal was to fix a couple of things, and then pass it on. I didn't have time to perfectly do the perfect math because too many people forced an early reset, so I had to work with the numbers I had already worked out.

We can always take note of some things and change them next round, there will be plenty more.

By the way, I realize it sounds like I'm dismissing your concerns. I'm not, they are entirely valid. But they'll have to wait until a later round. I'm not making changes in the middle of this round even if "no one has bought it yet", nor am I resetting the round again and giving people more whiplash. We'll just know what we want to change next round.
