forum problems

for some reason i can't look at my private messages. i click on them and it just takes me to a blank white screen, it says its loading but nothing ever happens. this also happens when i'm looking at anyone's profile.

i also can't view the "whos online" unless i open it in a new window or tab.

i'm using IE if that helps, and i don't plan on switching.

well actually my McAfee is deleting temp internet files from this site because they are detecting them as viruses. i don't know how i'd go about changing that

My anti-virus does that as well and I can still check my PMs, so I doubt that has anything to do with it.

What McAfee version are you using? I can attempt to walk you through. That or I just grab the version trial and write something up for you. You'll need to white list Chubbs so it doesn't take any action against it's files.

thanks vad. well i think i've figured something out.

i just disabled the on screen scan thing for my McAfee and the problem has fixed. i'll just keep switching it off when i visit the site. not a big deal.

Sorry if I'm doing the wrong thing here, but felt it was better to just write in a thread with a name related to my issue instead of making a new one. I'm also having forum problems (something which I just realized recently) and that's the fact that 'go advanced' really doesn't work for me. None of the buttons in the interface works for me, and seemingly neither does the interface in Quick Reply. I haven't noticed this because I usually do all the things I need to do on my message based on memory or in Word.

Anyone got an idea how I can solve this?
