The Simpsons is still the best adult cartoon. It wasn't on television in a time where you could insult jews, black people, and the handicapped. Family Guy gets too much credit

The Simpsons WAS the best adult cartoon in the mid-ninties, since then the quality of each episode has went waaaaay downhill. Hopefully Family guy doesn't go down the same route, the last couple of episodes I've seen of the lastest series have been underwhelming, it's still funny, but just not AS funny as it was.

I don't watch any of those. I'll catch Family Guy if it's on when I'm watching TV, but overall, none of the "adult cartoons" have been enthralling enough to make me a dedicated viewer. I much prefer live-action series, such as Heroes or Parks and Recreation.
