To be honest, I think people don't think over it, but a sports video game is still a video game and can still be played purely for enjoyment and not nescessarily by someone who's a fan of the sport or even likes playing the real sport. It's a video game darn it, if I wanted to do everything that I played in video games IRL I'd be locked away for life - multiple times!

You know what I hate? Tall fences with the pointy tips, that're supposed to make you reconsider scaling them. Fucked up my running shoes mang. I especially hate the Botanical Gardens, because they fucked up my shoes mang.

I like Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey because I got to beat the shit out of people and slam their heads against the ice over and over without recourse.
Hockey itself is boring. But I liked the game.

Maddox on the movie "Signs":
This movie wouldn't have been so bad if it actually went somewhere. It was like a porno with no money shot. One of those slow motion soft-core Showtime specials that start out as being mediocre detective melodrama, but you keep watching any way because it's starring Shannon Tweed and you know there's going to be a shower scene but you know it's going to suck because some dude inevitably comes in and starts man handling her and the camera man does nothing but zoom up on his ass. That's exactly what "Signs" is like: the camera man zooming up on some guy's ass for two hours.
