The Like/Hate Thread
To adapt on my rant.

I find myself attracted to Dune and Minority Report. Both are books and I have also seen both movies.

I stopped caring about movies that stem from my childhood.

The third book kicked ass. I refuse to read past the 5th book.

Hermione is...attractive.

Life as we know it is an illusion.

Welcome to the Matrix.
The triple dot concerns me, nevertheless not caring about child movies seems to be such a shame, I still revel in the fact that I can watch Disney movies now with a totally different experience than the first time I saw it as a child.

Whether the new experience is good or bad is relative, but still.

Like the fact I've reached some sort of flashback stage in my Bleach catch-up. Ichimaru Gin was surprisingly adorable, the little runt.

I find myself analyzing the morales and decisions made my Goku as I rewatch DBZ for the...going to round up and say 20th time?

Oh and the Hermione triple dot?

Yeah, I'd go to town with her. Get some coffee, have some dinner...

That's nice.

I also found the climax a bit fail. But some bitch also decided to get up and walk across the screen as ______ was falling from the top of the castle, which would have been awesome had she REMAINED FUCKING SEATED FOR THE LAST 10 MINUTES OF THE MOVIE. Jesus, people are so stupid.

I just loved the movie, however, I was severely disappointed in the lack of "learning" that septum sempra spell that he read the words of one time and just started fucking people up with, and two, (and I understand the book is said to go a bit more into this) nice title for the movie. Its a shame that it really had next to nothing to do with the actual plot. That said, I thought the movie was amazing.

And for the sake of throwing this out there, I said this last movie and say again: Hermione has competition for "the chick" of the movie, and that is Luna Lovegood.

I liked Ron's sister the most. And I agree with the half blood prince thing, I had no idea how that was significant, and the revelation of who it was served no purpose. It was like a really poor sub-plot that could just have easily been left out, only it's not at all. So, yeah... dumb.

I've reached Season 3 of Lost, and it's losing me. This is exactly what happened last time. It's just been too long without any tangible answers... that's what get's you hooked into the show, yeah. But it doesn't stop. It's nothing but questions, piled on top of more questions.

So many fucking questions that some of the old questions get forgotten about/pushed out of the plot. It's like these faggots are just writing it as they go along, not following any real sense of coherent plot. It's like dangling a camel in front of a mule, only the mule get's tired of being hungry and bites a chunk out of his own leg.

Lost makes me want to bite a chunk out of my own leg.

@Ashe - Actually, in the book, he sees the words "Sectum Sempra - for enemies" and has no idea what it does, and the fight in the bathroom got so heated that he shouted out the spell he knew that was for enemies and ripped Malfoy to pieces.

@Jaxx - You didn't find the fact that Ginny still looks like she's 12 disconcerting? And I agree they should have done more with them wanting to know who the half-blood prince was, but your suggestion of leaving the entire thing out is just...retarded. That would be like leaving the Sorcerer's Stone out of the first book. Half-Blood Prince is in the damn title, therefore it should probably be part of the movie.

I meant they put as much effort into that part of the story as you would a terrible sub-plot that should be left out.

I have never really understood why people find pop stars attractive but then I guess I am not attracted to copious amounts of eyeshadow powder and hairgel.

Oh come on, there's a bloody huuuuge difference in the Halfblood Prince and the Sorcerer's Stone for the importance of each movie. The Sorcerer's Stone is connected to the plot while the Halfblood Prince might as well be named (SPOILERNAMEALERT!!11) 'Harry Potter and the Horcruxes' or something, at least in the movie's case. The book's much deeper in on the Halfblood Prince (ew) and he's actually more useful.

Not to mention they bloody explain why he was named it in the book.

P.S. Ron was actually funny this movie.

The books have always been more in depth than the movies. It is to the point where it's essential to read each book before you watch any of the movies. The Half Blood Prince book was so intense that I don't care if I ever watch the movie or not.

Does honesty earn respect or inspire revenge? Is it smarter to attack the strong or annihilate the weak?

Speaking of which, can any nice chap please remind me who R.A.B or whatever is? I've read all the books but I've got the worst memory and I don't really want to look through it again just to find that. A PM will do if it's too spoilerish.

Teemer was so kind to PM me, but thanks.

Also Luna Lovegood was always an entertaining character, never imagined they'd make her play her though, always imagined something alike that ghost in the bathrooms.

I'd hardly say I'm exclusive with her, I'm just open to the proposal that both her and Hermione can co-exist in an enjoyable fashion, both in the movie and in my perv mind.
