In the crudest form possible, Jack, no, its not the same thing as a skullfuck on a deeper level.

EDIT: An example of a mindfuck (or in some people's opinions just bad storywriting) would be learning that most of the memories you see as Cloud are actually Zach and you are essentially no one to anyone.

Another would be the ending to Fight Club, the Village, or the Sixth Sense.
