Aaron Curry strutting out on the practice field yesterday. Aw yeah. He completes the perfect lineman trifecta: Leroy Hill, Lofa Tatupu, and Aaron Curry. Hill and Curry funnel them in, and Tatupu smashes them brain-dead. We have probably one of the greatest defensive line in the NFL right now, if not the best. Oh yes. Those damn Steelers that cost us the Super Bowl are going down.

And the wrath of all that is good and righteous in the football world will smite Oregon if Max Unger doesn't deliver.

I'm just glad he signed, unlike that bastard diva Michael Crabtree.

EDIT: If we're fanboyishly squealing about our teams, Indy's only going to build on last year. Tony Dungy was a loss, but it's an overstated loss. We have the best bookends in the league, and we're finally starting to develop some of our young tackles to clog up the middle. Our linebackers are improving, too, and I firmly believe that we have one of the best secondaries in the league. We moved on from Harrison a long time ago, and the other receivers will do just fine as long as Manning keeps doing what he does.

I hate the feeling in the pit of my stomach which says that despite the fact I've got 12 days to finish my university work, I'm going to spend the next 7 days just staring at a blank word document and fretting constantly and then maybe get some crappy work done right before the deadline if I'm lucky.

That was me all through high school. I did some of my best work within hours of a deadline, even if I had all fucking month to do it Smile

One time I stayed up all night with a friend working on two pieces, one which was 3500 words and the second which was 1500 and supposed to accompany the first. I spent a grand total of 45 minutes on the 1500-worder before slow-mo-throwing it into the dropbox, and somehow got a 2-1 for it and a 1st for the other piece. That's my crowning achievement, and one of the reasons I think the whole university marking system is laughable.

That's not intended to show off, by the way. I'd much, much rather complete something in advance, but self-discipline is something I'm still working on.

Hate: Reb went to medical today and they found a couple stress fractures in his leg, so they're keeping them in Chicago for another 6-8 weeks, which means he'll not be home until like, Nov-Dec. *slams head on desk*
