So I recently re downloaded Medal of Honor Airborne. I put this here because I'm fairly certain it came out for 360. Anywho, I think it's really underrated. While multiplayer blew nuggets, the single player game play was fantastic.
Jumping out of a plane every mission to land anywhere you want. Your weapons upgrade as you go and use them. The automatic rifles that had the double clip upgrade I could see the airborne doing. Most likely did. All in all, I think Singleplay gets an 8 and Mutliplayer a 3. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Just bought Assassin's Creed. Much better than I expected it to be so far. Great graphics and gameplay. Really cool atmosphere, too.
I don't get why people were knocking the combat aspect, though. If anything, it's too easy. Once you get counter kills you're borderline invincible. Hell I go out of my way to cause trouble just so I can hurt people. The one thing I hate is that Altair obviously wants to die. The freerunning/climbing is awesome, but more than a few times he's decided AGAINST MY WISHES to just take this blind leap of faith and catapult himself a hundred feet down into pavement. The freerunning/jumping/etc in Prototype was a million times better. Mind you, Mercer kind of cheats a little bit. Neat story so far but Yahtzee was bang on about the victims talking unendingly after you kill them. SHUT THE FUCK UP AND DIE, PLZ!!! Stupid anti-horse-running laws, too. Fun, though. And for 20 bucks for a new game, can't go wrong. EDIT: 'New' as in 'not used,' not 'just came out.' ![]()
I definitely disagree with the bad rap that Assassin's Creed got. I think it's a whole lot of fun and a generally well-done game.
They managed to make just running around a city a lot of fun. I think that's a pretty impressive feat. EDIT: And absolutely worth twenty bucks. ![]() "It's on my brain, driving me insane. It's on my mind, all of the time, and if it left... I would be fine."

Oh, totally. I definitely think the pros far outweigh the cons.
I am not disappointed with the purchase. UNLIKE YOU, DEVIL MAY CRY 4! I SEE YOU, SITTING ON MY SHELF AND BEING A WASTE OF SIXTY BUCKS! I SEE YOU, ASSHOLE!!! ![]()

We might have a new Zero Punctuation in the house, although I think you'd need another name to avoid Yahtzee sueing you with no break in his sentences.
I never found Assassin's Creed wall-climbing abilities to be lacking though, to the contrary I found it refreshing that he climbed up the wall. No windows, ledges, lamps, holes, cavities, orifices were left unclimbed and I found it awesome. That and jumping down from a roof to penetrate some guy in the face was cool too. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Wait wait wait.
You can jump off a building and attack someone?! ...Well I know what I'm trying tomorrow. ![]()

It's hard to perform but there's nothing like flying while screaming "EAAAAAGLE" and penetrating the back of the head of some poor sod.

Wet definitely looked cool.
That said, there are plenty of people who's job it is just to make things look cool. ![]() "It's on my brain, driving me insane. It's on my mind, all of the time, and if it left... I would be fine."

Bought Tales of Vesperia today. It was between that and Stars Ocean: Last Hope. Hope it's good.
I was actually pleasantly surprised by ToV. I couldn't stay focused on Symphonia but this one I actually kind of like. Among other nice things, I don't actually hate the main character. Repede is chill too.

Repede is a badass. Yuri is pretty awesome too. Even the "im the annoying princess chick" wasn't that bad; I definitely could stand her a lot better than I could stand Collette or... uh... the princess from TotA.
While I think Star Ocean is a great game, I think you made the right choice, Orion. ![]() "It's on my brain, driving me insane. It's on my mind, all of the time, and if it left... I would be fine."

Yeah, I'm surprised that Estelle is a lot more bearable than Collette. Is Star Ocean worth it after this game?

I can throw disco balls at people and make them dance!? O_O
I think I'm going to really enjoy Ratchet and Clank
