The edit stupidity

Ok may I ask WHY can we only edit our posts 5 minutes after we posted the original?! Im having problems with this and many have complained due to my overposting. But how cant I if I cant edit my posts?!

I agree its stupid but its so people dont edite thier posts after someone already replied to you origional message. I dont think it should exist but Im not staff.

We have problems in the past with people posting something offensive, or god moding, and then editting it out as soon as it became a problem. You should feel lucky that you get to edit your posts at all. For a long while, members could not edit their posts at all.

Yes, I should consider myself lucky. But the problem is that for me, having 5 minutes is like not being able to edit at all. beacuse every time I missed the deadline. I know I cant be demanding, but its just so annoying! But I guess you just want to catch those who write offensive text. I guess ill have to swallow this pill..... :O

Or reread your posts before you make them. No one says you have to post them as soon as you're done writing them. I reread most of posts before hitting Post Reply, even ones that are OOC.
