Don't get me wrong, I am NEVER gonna become a vegan/vegetarian, I love meat way too much, but the way those chicks were treated was just terrible.

Yeah, it was pretty depressing when I was on a road trip somewhere and I was actually in the car eating some nuggets and enjoying the hell out of them when I looked up and saw an 18 wheeler going past with a massive cage style trailer separated into boxes filled with extremely tiny baby chicks just being blasted by the open air on their way to the slaughterhouse.

Of all things, I just HAD to be eating NUGGETS when this happens.

You posted a video to get a rise out of people who disagree with your mindset. You did not post it to discuss a serious topic. In the proper context, that video would never have been edited out. Unfortunately, serious topics don't work well when they're presented in a childish and obnoxious manner.

Out of sight, out of mind works great. Regardless, unless I was actually in physical touch with the butchering of animals, I still believe I would take a big, tasty chunk out of any steak that's properly done. Doesn't mean that I particularly want to be there when the 'deed is done'.

Out of sight out of mind is how we're supposed to be. Somewhere in the world, as I type this, someone is either dying a violent death or being tortured or raped or w/e. If we couldn't rely on out of sihgt out of mind, we would all be depressed, unproductive, and suicidal.
