Basically I got a random call from a well known Bristish company claiming they'd cover me up to a quarter of a million pounds for any serious damage like a fractured or broken foot and all I'd need to pay montly is £10.99 a month.

Is there anyone here who pays monthly for health insurance?

I pay around $30 a month or something for private health cover.

And the deductible is so high that I almost always have to pay out of pocket for everything.

Don't you live in like the UK or Australia? Those places have Government run healthcare.
