The sad part is that when people say "this type of stuff happens everyday in the hood", they aren't exaggerating. It used to look like this on the way home from school some days, (although I will admit the wooden boards shocked me) and having to go through stuff like this as a teenager is pretty much the reason why I'm afraid to go outside, be around people, etc.

And this fuck with the camera pretty much embodies the whose mentality that perpetuates all of this. It's thrilling and entertaining to see a fight break out in the middle of the street, eventually swelling into an entire roadblock of black fists and school uniforms. He's all "DAYUM!" while this kid is getting his skull bashed in, he's eventually carried away (God bless them) and the camera-man is left to follow the drama down the street. It's stupid.

*This involves people from Altgeld Gardens, so it's not exactly surprising. But it's still disgusting, and I've never really seen someone get beat to death before. And he was only 16, wtf society

You know what I hate about this - and the YouTube culture in general?

This asshole is just standing there filming it gooing 'ooh' 'aah' instead of fucking doing something. The least you can do is call the police. I don't expect him to bust in like Judge Dredd or something but seriously.

I see this shit online all the time. "Oh man they're killing each other / that was a horrible accident / are they okay?!" but really they don't care. They don't do anything to change the situation, just stand there filming.

I'm not innocent, either. I walked - or drove - right past a couple street fights myself. It's a horrible thing to do, but I did. I could try rationalizing it but there's no point. I'm just tired of seeing people do the same thing all the time.

Window's Update really pisses me off. Especially when you're doing something and shit starts to lag hardcore because Windows has decided it wants to put new shit on your computer.

Like when they introduced Windows Firewall randomly back during XP's golden days. IT Admin across the world went "FUCK" in unison. It would automatically download and be enabled resulting in computers not being able to communciate with each other.

That's pretty sad. I've seen a fair share of street fight videos, and have seen people go through a lot worse punishment, like being knocked unconcious and then getting kicked in the face repeatedly, or slamming their heads against the ground really forcefully, only to get back up 10 seconds later with only a couple of cuts and bruises to show for it. It's possible that they were far more injured than what it appeared, like Natasha Richardson, and how everyone thought it was just a little bump on the head, and then a few hours later she's dead from bleeding in the brain....

There was a case a few months ago in the UK, where this man knocked out an innocent guy in a mall, and killed him with one punch. His girlfriend had got into an arguement with another man, and when she called her boyfriend over to beat him up, he ran off, and the boyfriend thought she was pointing at this guy who had nothing to do with it, and punched him out.

It's strange how one person can get beaten half to death and walk off fine moments later, and then people like that young kid can get in a brawl and end up dead.

People don't substitute it for source because it's more useful, they do it because the first time it seems cute and funny. By the time it starts to grate, other people are copying it to be cool, and thus the cycle of pointless lingo continues.
