For an avalanche of games. Never a worse time to be jobless. I've basically settled on Left4Dead2 and Dragon Age for the time being. Modern Warfare 2 was close up in, but the recent reveal of it being 60$ on the PC with no dedicated servers sent it over the edge.

I pre-ordered L4D2 when the 10% off deal came out, this way I won't suddenly realise I'm out of money when it hits. I'm having an impossible time choosing whether to get Dragon Age for 360 or PC. My PC has only 20 gigs remaining ... but fuck, I need isometric view and massive modding community.

Borderlands and Modern Warfare 2 are both knocking at my door but I have my fingers in my ears. I don't have enough money for you all right now, damn it ;_;

L4D2, as it stands, is banned in Australia because it doesn't meant MA15+ standards. We have no R18+ for games, so if it's not good enough for some puberty ridden fucktard, I can't play it. =(

Plenty of people are pretty pissed about it though, so hopefully it gets overturned.

Borderlands looks awesome. The couple of reviews I've read of it have been largely positive. I'm a huge fan of co-op gameplay. Waff, Kami, and I will undoubtedly be playing it in the near future.

From what I've read about Wet, while it looks really cool, Yahtzee's review of the gameplay seems pretty accurate.

Yeah I was gonna ask if you guys are getting PC or 360. On one hand, I could get it for like a 3rd of the price on the PC, on the other hand I have barely any hard drive space.

I never played Left 4 Dead, but I caught some gameplay of L4D2 and I have to admit it looked really fun. I might end up getting it, I need to get some more use out of Xbox live. I presume I'm not missing out on anything storywise after not playing the first game... zombie attack blah blah blah, suvivors blah blah blah, kill sum zombies woooooo!!!?

There's virtually no story. You surmised it almost perfectly.

You get story and atmosphere almost exclusively from dialogue and stuff scribbled on walls. And, obviously, the shit you come across on your way from a to b.

But yeah, Kaden's dead serious. There's no formal plot, no cut scenes, no nothing. Just 'here's some zombies, they want to kill you.' That's what makes it awesome.

DJ Hero looks awesome (to me). Also, Mafia II. Idk when Mafia II comes out tho, DJ Hero is out Tuesday.

I'd actually really like to get DJ Hero. I thought it was kinda... I dunno... weird. Until I played it in a Gamestop. I always thought the premise was cool, but the controller looked gimmicky and awkward to use.

Turns out, while it is a little awkward, it is intensely awesome.
