To the extent that if people have a personal storyline they are trying to complete, but cannot do it in time, they can join DA, complete their storyline after DA is over, and say it happened before DA. So events may look like this:

Dante's Abyss > Personal Storyline

but chronologically in fluid time they look like this:

Personal Storyline > Dante's Abyss

The extent is, you're only role-playing one thing at a time. You can't be posting in and outside of DA at the same time.

Well, Sophia role-played that the letter manages to reach King Kai anyway, so let's say that Syntex has connections through a Baba-like person who can communicate with the dead. They gathered information on Orion when he was alive, found out that he died, and patched the letter through somebody with spiritual connections. The same can be done for anyone else who is dead.
