Ok so this has been on my mind alot latelyand I thought meh might as well find out now.
Ok so lets say my character undergoes a stressful event. Such as a battle or wreck or something and a part of his body is rendered useless. Could he have a mechanical part added to replace it. Such as if he loses a eye or a arm could he get a cybernetic replacement?

Seeing as that would be personal and only changing the way you roleplay, I'm guessing that'd be totally allowed as long as it didn't add anything new. If it does add anything new, you'd probably need a custom tech for it.

Yeah, Cerion's pretty much on the ball.
You can get a cybernetic arm or whatever, just bearing in mind it won't give you some sort of bonus or anything for it.

ok next question. LEts say i get the cybernetic part. Could i develop techniques for it?

Lets say I had a cybernetic arm and i saved some zen and purchased the ki rifle would it be possible to just build it into the arm. And as for cybernetic eye would i be able to use zenni to have it built into the eye?

I've been told that all items are customizeable to suit your need as long as it doesn't give them any extra benefits. The first question I got no clue about.

alright and last qustion. Lets say i just wanna do basic cybernetics right now like a replacement arm or eye or something. Do I just rp the injury and overtime rp the part being placed on?

No. That's too reminescent of Bon Para who kept trying to change his character (somehow it looked like Cloud Strife once after looking like Sephiroth, even though neither of these look anything like BP himself - He just kept claiming his character was constantly in plastic surgery and changing hair and such.) At some point, all the customizations that we somewhat allowed (although we shouldn't have) weren't enough, and he makes a single post where he opens an airlock or something in space, flies out into it for no reason, and gets annihilated. In something like a single paragraph. We pointed out that suicide sends you to Hell, but apparently he was somehow "still alive" and in one more (short) post he had himself rebuilt ala Freeza as "Metal Bon Para", essentially getting a race change.
If we allow someone to do this type of thing, it would be an exception and would require better circumstances than that.

Im not attempting ot swap characters ot become android. Its two body parts a eye and a arm. I have no intentions on doing anything retarded like that.
