'Tis The Season
I think it's to make buying a new copy better than buying used.

You really need to micromanage your party in the tougher fights sage.

Also Cerion, if you have enough strength to wear the armor then you were probably high enough level to wipe out those bandits in any armor. Unless you put all your points into strength from the beginning.

When in doubt: It was sarcasm.

Bingo.

I wanted to see it on and now afterwards I can't really say I'm lacking anything. The defense it gives me makes up for lack of constitution, despite dexterity's compelling 'we'll make you hit more often' I hit enough to do enough damage and therefore there's no reason as a warrior to not just stack strength (if he's 2hander).

Personally I have to say I'm disappointed. Unlike for instance, KOTOR, there's nothing I've seen other than fighting, endlessly(minigames, anyone? Cards, pod racing, that kind of thing helps break up the bore and get money/stuff) and the story is nothing if not generic. I like the somewhat unstandard take on elves(cite elves, anyway) but it's not as good as I hoped and the collector's edition items are pretty much purely warrior. The helm, dragon armor are awesome, while the staff isn't that great and I could've sworn there was supposed to be a dagger in there somewhere. Overall, not very much variety once you get your party going and I'll play it for lack of something better, but...not what I was so excited for.

Dwarves, Mages and Templars accounted for. On my way to getting Arl on my side. Oh btw, if you get Morrigan to 100% approval you get some Witcher style love.

Any tips on easily getting Morrigan to sexy fun approval? Other than being a complete asshole to people?

It takes surprisingly little effort, really. Just do things that she would approve of (which I'm sure you already know--she'll almost always give her opinion on the matter before you make your decision) and say things that she wants to hear (that survival is the only thing that matters, love is unnecessary, etc). You can actually sleep with her before her approval of you is all the way up.

Give her magical tomes. Bitches love magical tomes.

I completed both of her quests before she drained the pipe. I'm too lazy to take proper precautions for a spoiler alert so I won't detail what they are.

Presents, dialogue choices, etcetera.

Also for all you bisexuals here, you now have even more reason to flirt with all members of your party, regardless of gender. At some point, they get an ability that increases their major stat, thus proving them a lot more useful.

Also Vad you rush far too much. I've been geeking it basically 15/7 and I'm only at 20%.

Oriole, it surprises me dearly you haven't found all the puzzle games yet. They sure as fuck frustrated me. The easiest 'puzzle' to find is the mage tower, if you want to.

I just discovered that PC's normal is console's hard, apparently. I didn't question how few deaths I'd gotten on the console version until past Lothering, I put it down to being a mage. If you're playing console, do yourself a favour and put it on hard. My mage still kicks ass though. Forcefield is way more useful than I thought it'd be, lets you wipe out all the minions whilst the boss just weeps.

Revenants scare me.

I don't get it. I killed the one at ...Redcliffe, I think?

But the one in the mage's tower just wrecked me, and I'm a lot stronger now. Hax, I think.

The High Dragon raped me at least...six times before I finally took her down.

Different area. Not spoiling anything. Just remain oblivious.
You rush way too much and wtf with the Werewolves? Also for anyone not having played the game you're not really leaving much to mystery if you tell what forces you can get with you.

Also why do you have the werewolves with you? There's a third option where you get the Dalish with you and the curse is broken so both sides get fair treatment.
In other news, due to a fatal mistake I missed the Juggernaught chest and I'm now contemplating starting over for the sixth bazillion time after finding out yet another game mechanic that makes mages even more powerful.

Greatly appreciate the spoiler... quote... thing, Cerion.

I was actually just about to ask people to be mindful of that.

Let's see.

Modern Warfare 2: Never played a COD game before, but this game looks gud, probably gonna get this one.
Batman Arkam Asylum: BATMAN. Kind of wanted to play this game.
Dragon Age: Don't know much about this game, only that it's highly rated and is a RPG. Usually good enough for me.
Left 4 Dead 2: Again haven't played L4D, but online teamplay against zombies sounds like so much fun.
Assassins Creed 2: Wasn't a massive fan of the first game, or the story. This one looks like an improvement.
Halo ODST: Played Halo 3, loved the story, also I didn't get any of the DLC, so that extra disk is quite appealing.

Oh and FF Dissisdia. Doubt I'll get any games before christmas, and probably even then I won't be getting many. Decisions decisions.
