Questions
#81
How much does your point value increase/reduce when you win/lose a fight?

Does honesty earn respect or inspire revenge? Is it smarter to attack the strong or annihilate the weak?

Looking through the Round 2 posts, I have a question about how you want movement done. I made a post in the City Sector that moved me into the Forest Sector. After that I wrote a shitty little post that was basically just 300 words of "Kaden walks into the bunker."

Vad, who was in the Forest Sector, made one post in the Mountain Sector that both moved him and entered the bunker.

Do you care how it's done? Obviously I'd prefer to avoid shitty little posts, given the way RP Value works.

Alexander Trafford Wrote:Since, in your conclusion thread, i got teleported back inside the Arctic bunker, am i all set for the next four days of Bunker-seeking? Or do i have to visit a separate bunker.

You were teleported somewhere different. You're not back in the bunker, but you're also not near Tempo, either. And both Kaden and Mal are correct; you cannot use the same bunker twice in a row.

I do not have a preference as to how they're done, so long as you use the form for me to keep track of you guys. There is no rule for or against moving and entering a bunker in the same post, so by all means, feel free to do so.

I suddenly realized that having wounds for RP fodder would be horrible in a fight. Especially for Vad. Would the bunker contain some sort of vaccine that would accelerate healing? Or does Dukes expect us to come out at full health from each fight?

I mean even in general for those that don't give their characters wounds, you can't expect a good fight to end good for both parties if they both survive. Injuries are bound to happen, it's how you win.

Fighting to the bitter end is an advantage when your opponent does not wish to perish.

To clarify my point. I meant that I doubt anyone here would roleplay their character having wolverine type regeneration (metaphor) so that they don't get hurt.

Even if injuries aren't given out, can one really forgo them if you're trying to kill one another?

Injuries kind of come with the territory. The extent of those injuries, however, is entirely up to you and your opponent. Bunkers have medical supplies, so you can patch yourself up, but there's no "regenerative" serum or anything like that.

If I find someone that I trust, and give them my Info... And I know they can be around the last hour before each deadline... Can I write something and have them post it for my under my own account under specific instructions?

I'm asking because I am scheduled to work 11PM EST. till 4-6 AM EST. All NExt Week, like Next week.

And I feel that some are playing that time thing as a strategy, that they bitched at me for thinking about, and I feel it's unfair... though I'm not bitching.. I'm just preplanning..

As well when you move to 2 posts each per 48 hours... Does that mean we can post twice back to back or what?

The deadline strategy is useful, I'd agree, but none of the people who are utilizing it are unbeatable, so, i wouldn't worry about it. The more important strategy is people who roam together with each other on DNK lists, and then they move to a potentially weak sector at the deadline, and if they happen to fight each other, there is no immediate risk, there is only upside in the chance they pull someone they can beat.

Of course, there is a downside to this too, we just haven't seen it yet.

8 minutes before Deadline... When you have 3 Power houses that know they are... BACKTRACK to an area... they just left not long ago, to pit themselves up against the 4 guys that might be equally matched against each other... respectively... Is a Low shot.

But I get bitched out by member's by openly stating a strategy that's devious and shit.

If I am asked to play fair by the members, then why shouldn't the 'Top' members?

And No..I don't and wont fall prey to this 'You assume' bull shit... The fact is its DA and I KNOW HOW DIRTY some can get... Remember... You came and asked me for info ... over and over again.

But, I'd like an answer....

Why? So everyone cant jump down my fucking neck? Again?

"OMG THATS LOW!!!!!"

It's low when you openly state a tactic.... But I don't see anyone accosting the trio that made their move... Now do you?

I was quoting Jack Nicholson in The Departed, in the scene where him and Matt Damon are meeting in the pornographic theatre and Leonardo DiCaprio is tailing them.

Conspiracy theories are fun.

Clearly no one else posts when their work schedule allows them too as well, just like you. Its clearly that everyone is sitting at home hoping to specifically target you.

And don't you dare give in to reason. You know better. Its definitely a staff conspiracy.

Guys, enough.

You're all acting childish - including the staffers. Let's just play the game, huh?

Sophia's not staff... And Ander isnt like that... but as UI stated before.. MOST OF STAFF are our best RPers

Dude you're openly bashing how other people write. I mean it's your opinion, but it isn't one to go around shouting.

Most of the staff's also been writing longer, not to mention been a member of chubbs longer. It'd be sad if they weren't 'the best'.

That shouldn't even be a factor though. People are here to have fun. You're not gaining anything from coming here besides a good experience so comparing peoples work will only ruin it for you. If there was really a conspiracy you would've been attacked by more than one person because of a random, just added stipulation and you'd prolly be dead already...=/

Besides, it was stated in the rules. Combat ability wouldn't play a factor, writing ability would. When you joined you should've anticipated the chance of you facing anyone, including 'the best'.

Edit: Not trynna to argue with you, not claimin you bitchin or accusin you of anythin. Just had to voice my opinion.
Don't worry Vincent. He's already made the accusation in chat that the rules are apparently being changed at the last second repeatedly to help staffers or 'the best writers' win or keep from being eliminated.

This is, of course, ignoring the fact that Xenia, Orion, and Piper, all of which are top 5 material and were in many of the betting lists, including those by staffers, just died in collar detonations in the second trigger. And Vad was eliminated by Trafford in a completely fair fight. And Kaden and I fought round one for my first loss.

Its at the point where I feel that staff (and anyone possibly associated with them in anything that would be considered anything above unfriendly terms) would be preferred to not join sagas or at least have nonstaff (and people who could in any way possibly be accused of being boosted by staff) start with a major advantage or guarantee that any fight against a staffer will result in elimination of said staffer with an extra bonus on this person's end. Of course, that's a cynical opinion of the situation, and I would not seriously expect (or hope against at least) anyone to actually request such a motion.

I honestly don't see any reason to feel that Ander has been at all unreasonable, biased, or manipulating the game in order to help a preferred set of individuals win the game, nor do I feel that the opinion is shared by many members at all.
