Well I finished Highschool last year, and I'm 22, so I'm a bit late in getting things done but I need to get my butt in gear.

I had no idea what I wanted to do and then it hit me. I wanted to be a psychologist, and then I thought about social working, and now I think what I'm going to do is go for Registered Nursing. My mom was a nurse, I remember how she always had the answers when we hurt ourselves or were sick, and it would be very helpful to know things like that in life.

I want to help people, but I'm not eager to be, like, a doctor. I'm a follower, so I figure nursing would be good for me.

I would have to go to high school for 3 classes, so it would take 1.5 years, unless I go in January and start asap on one class and then I'll just have 1 year. It would cost 600 to do those 3 classes.

I would then have to take 2 years at a campus across town, and then the last two years at the university. The total would be around $14,000...but as a registered nurse I could make anywhere between $35-40 an hour and pay off any loans in no time.

My bf told me the only difficult class for me would probably be stats, since its a hard subject...

I just know I have to work at least 30 hours a week to pay bills, and I'm afraid the pressure will be too much. I mean...it's only 4-5 years, which isn't too bad, and I'd get my foot in the door....but if I fail, I owe money that I may never be able to pay back. It's a lot to consider, but...I also feel that if I really focus on this I can do it.

I know a lot of people think nursing is a crappy job, and all they do is clean dirty butts, but it's more than that. I want to make a difference, and be there for people. I've always been a healer in games, so why not in real life?

Realistically I have no social life, so I wouldn't lose much as far as time goes if I worked and went to school. I just may get...stressed, scared, and crumple.

I needed a career, I want a house...a stable job, and to be comfortable and stop living paycheck to paycheck.

EDIT: Still awake, btw, yet I need a good 5-6 hours more sleep. This is always what happens... despite knowing I won't be able to fall asleep, I lay in bed for like 3 hours doing nothing before I finally decide to just get up, which lasts like half an hour because I'm exhausted and end up falling asleep. Do the math. Answering the door before noon ruins a fifth of my day.

I completely agree with the man when he says how absolutely frustrating this was. He couldn't even try to let himself die from lack of nourishment or anything. I would HATE that shit.

I'd have to call that one of the absolute most terrible fates one could encounter that would deprive them of their "life".

It's retarded. There's nothing the government can do to keep tabs on who does what in the house. I mean what's gonna happen, the husband doesn't do the washing up, so the wife storms off to the police demanding that they take him away?

I wouldn't expect you to be bothered by this, since you do 100% of the housework in your home anyway. If you ever get married you'd be more than happy to do the cooking/cleaning.
