I hate that when people quit in a heads up match on Fifa 10, it doesn't count as a win towards the various online achievements. I was trying to get the 5 matches without losing achievement yesterday, I only needed two more undefeated games. Both games that I played I was leading by atleast 3 goals when my opponent quit the match, and now I find out neither of the wins count. It's retarded.
Almost as retarded as you playing a soccer game in the first place.

why don't I like cheesy CGI eyecandy-fests like Avatar? 1) because it's all an illusion and 2) meanwhile things like this actually exist. the whiz-zip sound is debris flying by like bullets.

I dislike CGI, but only when it's sandwiched alongside live action, because it's... generally pretty easy to tell. I prefer non-CGI stuff in my action movies because it's easier to get sucked into the illusion.
I guess I liked Avatar, though. 8.5/10. Hate: Playing a mildly poorly coded baseball game that is awesome is most respects, but has apparently ramped the reaction time for the CPU to 'immediate' for fielding. I'll strike ridiculous shots, that an infielder will go after right from the crack, dive, and snag. In impossible ways.
It's literally to the point that, if you hit something low that isn't within a foot-gap of the infielders, it'll get snagged. Dumb. |
