Well, good luck with your stuff. I'm sure you'd do fine were you to speak up.

If multiple people are getting hacked, I would blame a recent mod download for getting corrupted. Blizz is considering requiring authenticators though, which I vote as a perfect move.
Regarding the Mako, I love the hell out of it in the first ME, however, I have to admit that its fairly unbalanced. Its just too easy to just... win while using it. The only thing I've found to trump it is just damn unlucky worm exits that repeatedly come up under you while you are circle strafing it. Otherwise, you just hop and canon, and if not, you just run the bitch over and then gel it up after.

Actual keyloggers are not very common because they are so easily detected by modern antivirus. Most likely is brute force attack for passwords that are words found in a dictionary, a fake website-phishing attack where you think you are logging into something legit but it's fake or a exploit in the servers somewhere (probably on their website, code always has holes).

I did that for a while and ended up with waaaaaaaay too many supplies. Just be on the lookout for Platinum and Element Zero and you should be fine. God damned palladium. ![]() "It's on my brain, driving me insane. It's on my mind, all of the time, and if it left... I would be fine."

I'm lacking tons of Iridum, Element 0 and Platinum. What the hell is up with the intense amounts of palladium that you never need?

I have no idea, but I wish I could do something with the 250k I have sitting on my ship.

Phishing, yeah that could be same with an exploit. But brute forcing, I don't think so, I am sure that Blizzard would have a system in place to tell them when someone was trying to check their password a few hundred times in a minute.

I got that novelty factor from the Mako at first, but it wears off after a while. I won't be missing it in the sequel.

No music or sound or nothing. It was... eerie. ![]() Josh Wrote:Phishing, yeah that could be same with an exploit. Brute forcing has yet to happen. Keyloggers actually happen quite often in regards to WoW mods. Phishing is the most likely culprit. There are several emails going around right now claiming the be Blizzard offering people Beta invites for Cataclysm or account maintenance or something, and link you to a fake site to log in to activate. They'll have a name like "worldofvarcraft.com" or similar. Also, there's an armory scam going on right now where people have managed to get a bad google link into the google search that if you go google armory (instead of using the standard URL that most bookmark or memorize), let's say by mistyping the URL and then it loads up the list of "Did you mean?" and you just click the first one and go into it, thinking its the real thing. It looks the same, the URL seems close enough, and you just go to log into your account on it to see your armory. In reality, you just sent some dude your name and password and never knew it. EDIT: Just logged my account, that I haven't been updating on mods for quite a few patches. Everything is as it should be, and I don't have an authenticator.
