Nah, Monsoon isn't her bread and butter. Level up Zephyr and her shield. Proc your shield, then use Zephyr to damage and then chase people. Works a treat if you just keep stacking attack speed items too. She's pretty damn good dps if you don't build AP.

I know she's not built for Monsoon. It's just incredibly underwhelming as an ult.

Ah shit, I was thinking of the tornado one. =/
But yeah, Monsoon is shit. I don't actually put points into it until I have to, since the other three are way more useful.

The tornado one is amazing. Skillshot AoE knock-up is ridiculously useful. I think it's her best support spell, to be honest. Of course the shield is useful and Zephyr's slow can be handy, but I have much <3 for the tornado.

I'm a huge fan of Janna, and will be a bigger fan if they ever make Monsoon better.
The Wicked Witch of the West? Every time I see her I just want to drop a damn house on her.

Tips for the new champions:
Pantheon's ultimate is like Gangplank's, it can hit anywhere on the map, but it takes 4 seconds to cast and 2 seconds before actually landing. That's 6 seconds of you predicting where the enemy is going to be and 2 seconds of them knowing the ult is going to land. The damage is high if you hit spot on but anything below that is a gimmick ult. It is however able to be cancelled within 4 seconds and it seems that the cooldown of the ult does not trigger completely if you do so, but rather gets a mini-CD. It's much preferable to cancel the skill to say directly jump into the hands of a bunch of enemy champions though. I'm still unsure of what builds to go for Pantheon, as it seems they've left him pretty open. He got two abilities that roll with ability power (little more than melee range stunning shield /w 1 enemy attack blocked) and his ultimate (Grand Skyfall e.g. the ultimate I've been describing) and he got two abilities that roll with damage (a targetted spear-throw with a little shorter range than his normal attack range and a spear attack blitz with the range of Annie's fire breath, where you attack 5 times or so with a set damage + 18% (I think) of your attack damage added. Does double damage to Champions. I'm personally going with attack damage because Grand Skyfall and Shieldslam doesn't seem to be his bread and butter. The Aegis (the thing that blocks attacks) does work on turrets which means that Pantheon can be the dude that swiftly goes in and blocks one strike of the turret for a teammate with nothing but a yellow 'COCKBLOCKED' over his head. Spear blitz hits like a cannon early game and a good way to get first blood is have them stuck in one perhaps with Shieldslam / Exhaust. I'm trying to have success with this guy but still experimenting.
The dwarf drinker's ult's strength is utility as it has an insane amount of knockback and a well placed casket will blow the shit out of enemies in the form of throwing it behind them and watch them get blasted into the turret. This works both ways however and you should not throw the shit down in group fights unless you're 100% it's going to land in the group's favor. You will literally save the entire enemy group's arse or disengage the entire fight if they just as much as run a little bit in front of the casket, so be careful with that shit or the team will hate you for it. This guy's strength seems to be farming. My friend plays him so that he throws a damaging casket (forgot which) after just hitting every caster minion once and kills them all, it was impossible for me to lane with the guy because I never got any goddamn minion kills, the bastard. Official rule is that this guy is a tank, but I haven't seen any tanking abilities per say but he is the best lane keeper I've ever seen, since if you smack a Catalyst on his ass he simply drinks and drinks and refills mana and health (mana with active ability, health with his passive).
Tips against them would be in Pantheon's case to stay out of range and if you see an enormous circle on the ground (like Gangplank's circle but without the 'x' in the middle), gtfo the circle.
Dwarf drinker's pretty simple, place yourself on the right side of the casket (in most cases that's AWAY from it) and learn to decipher when the ultimate comes so you can make sure your ass isn't thrown to turretland (unless it's your turretland in which case bring me a souvenir).
Pretty much what I've gathered so far.

I enjoy Pantheon. He's a pretty cool character. I tend to use his ult more as a teleport with maybe doing some damage rather than trying to predict where people will be in 6 seconds.

I got an advice then, Teemer. When that ring appears, Pantheon in game terms is THERE. He can throw Summoner abilities down, meaning while you're flying in tons air you can either Flash near enemy champions or Exhaust them to make sure they stay in range. Hell I'm curious if Rally works so you get a 20/30% (can't remember) damage boost. It does make it a lot more interesting.

I think Pantheon's ult is next to useless.

Then you obviously haven't played late game when the enemy team swarms your turrets.

Lately my internet has been running at ludicrously low speeds (I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is, but I can't do anything about it) and I need to patch LoL.
Left it on overnight, and when I got up, it had finished about 10%.
=(

By late game his ulti does like no damage, his ulti is extremely easy to avoid. There's a Pantheon almost every game and I have yet to be hit by his ulti once.

It's really for use with multiple people. Slows, stuns, etc. I've only been hit by it once and it hurt pretty well.

It's a goddamn suicide ultimate of uselessness. The second that circle arrives, he's fucked if you scare away his group from the area. He can't cancel it and he's effectively just waiting to get raped.

I'm so sick of jungling. People are too busy getting the auras while the team gets slaughtered in a 4v5 match.

Sounds like a bad group overall. A good jungler will be there to hop on and guarantee ganks because he've got buffs and is equal level while granting a significant exp boost to the one also solo laneing. It's a win/win situation if you got a proper jungler.

Right, I've seen some really good jungling Shacos and Warwicks that leave their main lane for another soloer and it often works because you'll have 2 lanes of solos with higher level while they remain at the same pace with mobile ganks and stealing opponent team buffs.

In all my playing (enough to get to level... 24, I think I am?) I've seen one good jungler. People just shouldn't do it.
It's bull to say it gives the other person an XP bonus in their soslo lane, because 99% of the time it's 2v1. They're fucked once the other team realizes there's a jungler.

I don't find that scenario occurring often, Kaden. People just need to be way more careful when they're faving 1v2, I mean it's basic logic but people rarely apply it. In an edge with competition, getting the ultimate (due to XP boost) can easily drop one of the champions in the lane early game and the jungler can then help when they get back with his own ulti.
