No, it wasn't. They didn't report the exploit, they were CAUGHT doing it. They should have stopped using the saronite bomb after it happened, or reported it. It's only a 100-200 dps increase, anyway.

Instead they were caught cheating, when they've cheated for firsts before. Like Hodir. And Cthun.

Edit: Instead not only did they refuse to admit the fact they exploited a bug, they also refused to admit the footage they had recorded of their attempt at first. Further signs that they weren't innocent, by any means.

The rogue had still always used Saronite Bombs in his rotations, he'd gotten used to it by then. Also I don't know how many attempts, I frankly thought they went in first time, didn't make it enough to get to that phase then did it second time with the bug.

From what I heard, they did it the second time with the bug, downed the LK, and claimed world first. They didn't report it, and blizzard found it because they closely look at world first combat logs.
