Combo Question
#1
If I have Foresight and Combat Teleportation do I still need a higher agility then they do for dodging? Seeing as I can see it coming ahead of time.

Would the agility have to be higher then their ki stat to make my reaction to teleport faster then their ki movements?

I think you're taking stats way too serious here. I reckon anyone with a reasonable amount of agility should be able to dodge once in a while, even if they have a higher amount. It's only in direct fire vs. fire situations where stats count like you seem to think.

You can dodge any attack no matter what the numbers are, however, how often and how well you succeed is another matter. Now with your abilities you certainly gain an advantage where you may have been disadvantaged statwise. From my understanding, this game is a ballpark kind of thing and so long as you don't continue to elude an opponent endlessly you should be fine.

I would also like to point out that stats simply show you how to play your character. IE: Someone who rollplays themselves getting beaten badly, however, displays this in genus writing will probably trump the character who was role played as doing better, poorly.

Thats how I perceieve the game to be played, however, if I am wrong I am certain staff will step in with a "Wtf n00b Gtfo!"

I don't think there has been a single instance yet where stats have actually mattered in a fight. It's mostly a rough guideline. For example, if Orion were in a fight with someone agile, I'd say that he would have trouble making hits, but they wouldn't always miss.

Wow lots of input since I went to sleep. Hmm well looking over what each of you said I can get that stats are a guideline to how to use a character. This is a good to know and kinda what I was wondering. I was just looking for some input on what everyone thought a character like this could be run like.
