Mr. Mime Ain't Got Shit On Me!
#1
Mimic - An Ability that lets you copy the Abilities of others, although its use has limitations. You can only Mimic an Ability by physically touching another character that has it, and only after that character has used it at least once in front of you. Only one Ability can be Mimicked at a time, and you cannot Mimicked an Ability you already have, nor can you use it to Mimic another player's Custom Techniques. Mimic is such a difficult Ability that Custom Techniques cannot be created to amplify or alter its use. Any Custom Techniques created for a specific Ability become locked if you Mimic a different one. Mimic costs 2 PP per use.

Let me see if I understand this correctly, with mimic I would be able to gain an ability and create customs for said ability. Now if I mimic something else I lose my customs until I mimic the ability again. So my question is once I mimic an ability and switch to another ability would I then have to retouch the player in order to mimic that ability again?

Like say I touch Kaden and get ki sense then I gain mediumship from Piper, in order to use ki sense again would I have to touch Kaden again or would I be able to just turn mimiced abilities on and off, so long as I only have one current ability mimiced at a time?

If I am able to switch through all the abilities I've mimicked how long would the cool down be? Obviously it would not be fair to be shuffling through abilities on someone in a fight. I don't know if you guys have a ruling on this as no one really has put the ability to use, but I am seriously interested in it and probably will be gunning for it. Thanks in advance.

I believe you must touch some person with that ability each time you wish you use it. So, in your example, after you have mimicked medium-ship from Pipes, you would need to touch someone with the Ki Sense ability in order to regain that ability.

The say i imagine it is that each time you touch someone and take their ability, then your slate is wiped clean of all abilities prior, and so in order to regain an old ability, you must re initiate the mimic through touch.

Edit: Very interesting for RP Fodder I would imagine.

You would have to touch Kaden again.
