A little help?
#1
I'm not sure if this is the right folder to ask this...but here it goes!

Is there any way anyone could spare some time to help me write better? I've been looking around and noticed almost everyone on here is extremely good writers and, well, I feel inadequate Hah.

The RPG Discussion probably would have been a better choice, but that's alright. Anyway:

This guide is just as true today as when it was written.

Anyway, my biggest piece of advice would be to just keep reading, either actual novels or posts from any of the fine writers we have here. Take a look at their word choices, their sentence structures, their dialogue, and so on. Writing style differs from writer to writer, and once you have some practice under your belt, I'm sure yours will be just as unique.

Practice is the biggest thing. Try experimenting with different styles and word choices. Everyone started out somewhere, so don't feel inadequate. If you really want to get better, you'll get there. It just takes time.
