Hell yes. I just got into this two weeks ago and holy hell is it addictive. The only thing that would make it better is multiplayer, which is now properly supported since it's in beta.

I'm not sure of the steps involved in setting one up, but I'll try to look into it. My friend wants to do it too but we'd have to be able to keep a server up and I don't know if I have a comp to dedicate to doing so or not, or however you'd do it.

Would an old Dell work from 2001? I have one that I can dedicate to it.

Knowing Waff, he'd get bored and use a level editor on it instead of letting us build it all from scratch XD. I'd been talking to my friend about it and he's pretty interested in playing around on one.

Yeah level editing is fun and all, but it's more fun to build from scratch. We need to get this server up asap.

Since it's java based it's mostly just a memory hog. I think like 512mb minimum last I checked. Java uses like 200mb on it's own, plus Windows (probably less if you are willing to install a linux distro).

Linux is fine. Tell me what would work the best. It has a gig of RAM I put in it anyway so that shouldn't be an issue.
