At what point does 'giving one's all with a great performance' simply become 'great talent'?
Having seen Leo in Gangs of New York and The Departed (two of his best films), and considering the charm displayed in Catch Me If You Can and Titanic (though not his starry roles, simply because they didn't really give him the room to breathe), he's certainly one of our finer actors today.
Best? No. Daniel Day-Lewis takes that slot. Go watch The Crucible.
Or watch Gangs of New York.
Or watch There Will Be Blood.

I'm going to have to get Tom Hanks to nab the prize of greatest actor, in my opinion. I just... haven't liked Daniel Day-Lewis when I've seen him. There is, in my opinion, such a thing as being

And I never said DiCaprio didn't have great talent. Just that he always happens to match himself up with people whose talent is... slightly greater.

Hate: So, I signed an extension when I got here to remain at this duty station an extra 3 months to make up for some training we take when we first get here, right? That would put me at getting a last set of orders in July, so I had time. Turns out someone fucked me over big time and lost that extension, so I may be getting those orders in April, meaning I needed to have called a detailer like two weeks ago instead of leisurely doing it anytime this month. =(
