Abilities Implying Techniques

So was anything, once and for all, concluded about abilities implying techniques? Does Ki Specialization as an Ability imply that the character possesses Ki Control, without having to purchase it? Does Psychokinesis as an Ability imply that the character possesses Telekinesis, without having to purchase it?

If not, what benefit does the purchase of either of these Techniques have for the person who possesses the corresponding Abilities?

EDIT: I see that Ki Spec implies Ki Control. What about Psychokinesis?

Isn't Telekinesis mentioned in it's description as being a simply inferior version of Psycho? So, Psycho can do anything Tele can and then some, right, so it's essentially baked in I guess if you had any reason to want it for some reason.

I roleplay Iris as having Telekinesis, and I haven't bought it, I just have Psycho.

You get Ki Control automatically when you Ki Specialization so I don't know what you're referring to exactly.

Pyschokinesis is the combat ready version of Telekinesis. Alexander Trafford is the prime example here. Most of his custom techniques revolve around imbuing objects and creating either big explosions or micro explosions to propel him along. And yes, telekinesis is pretty much a given when you have Psychokinesis. I do not think we award it to people who take Telekinesis, because it's not the same as the Ki Spec scenario.

Ki Specialization, like I explained in Hajimaru's thread, is the ability to use Ki as easily as you're able to breath. So Ki Control isn't implied in Ki Spec.

Insofar as Ki Control is automatically granted if you possess Ki Specialization, then Ki Spec implies Ki Control. That's the sense in which I was using it.

So, just for personal OCD reasons, if having Psychokinesis essentially means I possess Telekinesis, can I be granted Telekinesis?

I really can't find the words to explain it further. Telekinesis and Psychokinesis are not one in the same. Ki Spec makes you good at using Ki, hence the Ki Control.

We had been avoiding that to make it easier to track XP gain/expenditure more easily.
