Regardless, I think it's a mistake to attribute SE's decline to either of these films. it was TSW. their games were on a downward trend already, but a completely cgi movie was was way too expensive back then. combined with the film bombing at the boxoffice, square had financial trouble that lead them to merging with enix and cranking out cash cows.
i still remember the awful day that ffx2 was announced. it was like the death knell for the square of yore. haven't played a game they've published since.

1) Don't ever buy a video game at full price
2) If you must buy a game at full price, don't ever do it without first checking multiple, credible reviews
EDIT: 3) The above may be ignored if the publisher is Blizzard, Valve, or Kojima

Oh, ok. Yeah, that's true.
I thought you meant more about quality and vision.

What about Bethsoft and Bioware? D: Honestly I had checked out some trailers and shit, was pretty excited because they do make fancy trailers, so I was caught. I'm just saving my money for march now.
(The Witcher 2, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Dragon Age 2(I think?), Brink around there as well, gawd my wallet)

Bioware doesn't always tickle my fancy (though Dragon Age is most def on my to-get list).
I was very close to adding Bethesda to the list, though I was very disappointed by Fallout 3.
I am jizztastically excited for Skyrim.

Bioware has yet to disappoint me.

Yes I would replace Kojima with Bioware, for sure.

My top two gaming companies are Bioware and Koei. Bioware being number one on the list.

Hate how Adult Swim butchered the opening and ending songs to FMA Brotherhood.

Like: Robin Williams as a likely Hugo Strange in the upcoming Batman movie.
Like: Christopher Lee likely voicing Hugo Strange in Arkham City.

Dislike: That I wasn't aware I'm getting a Bachelors Degree in Writing.

How can you possibly be unaware of something like that?

I'm in a technical school for Information Technology. My degree is Internet Systems Security. I've been doing nothing but writing so far T.T

Better than doing nothing but writing and getting an English degree.
