If you guys think it's me, great! It means you're finally ready to start reading into things and get into this game. We're not going to get anywhere by skating through the day sessions and hoping someone is going to pop up and say "I'm Mafia! Lynch me!"

In my defense, I can only say that I haven't been reading into this game as much because there's been almost nothing to read into. I like to think I'm a pretty savvy guy, but when no one's talking I can't come up with definitives. But, I have been decisive just like last game, and I've been the only one advocating actually trying to get dialogue started and lynching people. If I were Mafia, it would have been smart of me to vote No Lynch at the beginning of last round and let the day go by without problem. I probably would have went with No Lynch today too, since we didn't have any other information today than yesterday. Instead, I'm accusing people to see how they react in order to get a read on what they might be.

Also, I like stirring the pot. It keeps things exciting.

PS: Whompt prolly isn't mafia I'm guessing. Prolly. Logic will fail in this game.

Suspecting the fuck out of Sigfried for suggesting we wait to lynch Whompt and today focus on lynching Kami. Mindless bandwagons don't care who they lynch.

I'm pretty sure I tried to Lynch Rose last time. Might be wrong, but yeah. Also, you'd be surprised how other people react to accusations. Craziness.

I was happy, until no one wanted to make any decisions or act on their suspicions. If you really think I'm Mafia/suspicious/a jerk/whatever, then DO something about it. Sitting around doing nothing gets more people killed than acting. Yeah, we would have lost two people instead of one. Awesome. We might also lose more in the long run by not going after the Mafia aggressively. Last game we only lynched two innocents and had one person killed by Mafia. A six-day game is almost unheard of. In that game, we lost 4 people, 1 because of inactivity, and we got all three Mafioso. I'd have to say we did something right. And we certainly didn't sit around and wait for the Mafia to make itself known. By the time that happens, we might be down to 4 townspeople. Good luck trying to win by then.

You've been keeping pretty low key before now... Just enough activity to be anonymous in anyone's eyes. You're a pretty smart guy, I know from experience, and you would have better reasons to suspect people by now than the fact that people can change their minds from post to post. I'm thinking you might be putting me under the scrutiny of the group to keep me from stirring people into a frenzy where they might start actively looking for the Mafia.

I'm not a math major, but having two townies killed instead of one doesn't benefit anyone but the mafia. As well, making the game longer gives those with special roles more time to do their thing, which is to help find the mafia. You seem against things that help us townies, so I'm going to Lynch Whompt.

What was done right was your luck/skill as a doctor. You'd've had TWICE the body count otherwise. We can't rely on the doctor.

In a long term game plan the more posts (info) we get with the least killed is most preferable. You can accuse without lynching as I have done to get reactions, because if you lynch early then all that happens is they die and you get a yes/no if they were mafia. Not a lot of discussion in a quick lynch. Shit stirring is one thing, knee-jerk killing is another.

As for the baseless activity claim, I post when I see something happening that no one else is pointing out I make it known to the group.

With my life on the line, however, this changes from an intellectual exercise and my hand is forced,

There is making baseless accusation to provoke and then there is lynching. You are acting like someone anxious to get killing, throwing shit against the wall to see what sticks. You COULD be anxious to find Mafia OR you could be anxious to clear out townspeople before the day goes on too long and someone is found out.

Plus look at you. Whompt is an orc name. Orcs are always traitors. Always.

Yeah, it helps the special roles to find the Mafia. Unless, 1) they are killed like Leo was or 2) their choices are as large as they are now. By your logic about lynching on day 1, the Sheriff only has a 1 in 4 chance of picking a Mafia correctly, and if he dares to share his knowledge, then his neck is on the line. If he waits until he knows the identities of all three, probability states that by that time it will be too late to do anything.

Also, having less people who might be Mafia doesn't help anyone? At all? Math would say that the less options someone has the more likely he or she is to be correct in their assumptions. But hey, I'm no math major either. If you think the strategy we used last time was flawed, let me know. When I voted for lynching last time, I did so without using what Moyki said about the Who's Online deal. Hell, I was PMing Meer on who to save. Using Moyki's method, I'd have been lynched on like the 2nd day.

Still, do what you guys want to. I'm not in charge of nothing, and I'm not Mafia. Of course, saying so is pretty much worthless, since no real Mafia member would admit to it. So, like I said, do what you guys want. I just refuse to vote No Lynch unless it's already a given that it'll happen. While we may kill an innocent townie by lynching, we might also get a real Mafia member which helps us. Why not take our chances while we still have a significant number advantage over the Mafia?

And yeah, I know it was a baseless accusation. I'm just trying to play the game the best I can, like everyone else. And while we would have had twice the body count, we still would have won, and possibly faster because our options would have been less. Maybe Celena never would have been lynched. Who knows, right?
