We, the below signed, do hereby protest the institutionalised segregation of posts consisting of entirely capital letters from the forums. We believe this is unjust and unusual cruel treatment towards such posts, and is totes gay.

It has been suggested by those who pull the strings that allcaps is a bastion for fools, used only by the lower forum classes. We, however, believe in POST DIVERSITY, and recognise with wisdom that posts can be good or bad regardless of the CAPS-MEDIUM in which they take place. ALLCAPS can be misused, certainly, but it can also be a useful tool to indicate the tone of a post, convey feeling or invert meaning. Clearly, ALLCAPS is a wondrous and diverse tool that undeniably enriches all of our lives. Also, BECAUSE.

Maybe I'm naive. But I envision a future where posts of lowercase and posts of ALLCAPS can be together on the same forum. When you read this, think back to a post you read which was in allcaps, maybe it made you laugh. And then think about how such a post would be treated on this forum - 'converted' to lowercase, stripped of its true nature and made uniform. We are better than this.

Let's bring down the divide, people. Let's embrace the CHANGING TIMES. Let's remove the gay-ass caps lock filter!!!
