Anyone know how IP is granted? Like, I had a game where I was 6/2/3 and got a whopping 226 IP but then I destroyed erbody with Nocturne(who is very nice, btw) 12/1/7 and got 76.Got the same amount of exp for both.

Also,fuck Fiddlesticks, that lifedrain is nuts. D;

How the fuck do you beat fiddlesticks? Even at level one the lifedrain takes half my life before I can escape and it seems to heal him for all it deals. I just cannot ever, ever beat him with any hero,and people say he's bad at 18, but I def do not see that,he seems even more monstrous

You build magic resist. Items such as Force of Nature or Banshee's Veil provide a lot of MR, which not only lowers the damage Fid does with his attacks, but also the amount of health he steals from you with his drain.

How the fuck do you beat fiddlesticks?

Stun, Silence, Other CC, Ignite, and like Teemer said Magic Resist. His main combo is Fear > Crow (or Crow > Fear) > Drain. Mercury's Treads will help.

To beat Fiddlesticks, you must become Fiddlesticks! and get ignite ;D

He can be a bitch, but he's pretty simple. Especially, if you're a melee champion, you'll tear through his health really fast.

Mercury Treads and the Summoner Spells "Cleanse" and "Ignite" are the best counter to Fiddle. He has very potent CC with his fear and silence, but all his spells are on long cooldowns and high mana costs. The best thing to do is wait until you know you'll be able to interrupt his drain and then jump on him. He'll burn all his spells, you'll break his drain (which is 90% of his damage AND survivability) and he'll have nothing but auto-attacks for 5~6 seconds.

Another helpful tip is to fight AWAY from minions so his silence can't keep bouncing back to you. If he only gets you with one bounce, it's a very mediocre spell.

What you absolutely don't want to do is get baited into chasing a low-hp Fiddlesticks. He'll run until his spells are back up, then jump into a bush. When you go to chase him, it'll be Fear > Drain. Then he's back to full and YOU'RE the one about to die.

If a Fiddles gets max CDR early it can be a real pain in the fucking ass - esp. if you haven't had time to build a defensive item yet.

Anyone with a stun or silence or knockup etc. shuts him down pretty hard, though. Just got to play smart (I'm terrible at this)

I think my problem is, among all the heros I've played, zero of them besides warwick have had a stun, and frankly I hate warwick. Beat the shit out of Fiddle with Caitlyn though. Just try and get close enough to drain that, bitch.

So, Kog'Maw,worst hero ever? I just played him and wtf. He seems to do next to zero damage, but I got my ult and I was like, ooh, only costs 40 mana, barely any cd, damage sucks but spaaaaaaam! and then I noticed: costs more if you spam and...he hasn't heard of a manly mana pool.

So, I figure,oh, I'll get some caster mana gear and fix this shiz,since it's all magic damage. Suggested items...wtf, it's all the stuff I'd use for physical damage types. Okay, let's see the tips...using a slow to get "the perfect Living Artillery" except, it does slightly more than zero damage,so why bother working hard to make it hit? One of the guys in my group said he annihilates people with him, so I guess hard just means there's hidden stuff I'm not getting, but damn.

Also, anyone know how exactly you're supposed to be able to kill Baron with this guy "Extremely early" ? I used bio-arcane barrage, and, again, barely saw any hp movement on the worm's part and a lot on mine when it wore off instantly after. Just...confused

Edit: derp, shoulda gone with what I thought vice the suggested. Just had one decked out in caster gear do pretty well. Still requires not paying attention to get hit by him though

Kog'Maw is one of the best anti-tank champions in the game. His damages scales INCREDIBLY well against beefy opponents and he can do enough damage to shut down teams on his own.

Some people build AP on him, but I personally think that's a very poor use of his skill set. My preferred build involves lots of attack speed and relies on both his W (which gives his attack bonus range and they do a % of their target's max HP) and an item called Madred's Bloodrazor, which makes it so your attacks do 3% (I think) of your target's HP as magic damage.

With a rank 5 W and the Bloodrazor, you're basically doing 10% of a target's max HP each time you hit them as magic damage. That's on top of the physical damage you're doing.

I suggest grabbing a Madred's Bloodrazor, Berzerker Greaves, then either Sword of the Divine or Nashor's Tooth, followed by a Rageblade and then finishing with something defensive like Banshee's Veil or Guardian Angel. If you feel confident in your team's ability to keep you safe and your positioning, then you can grab Phage after the Bloodrazor and work it into a Frozen Mallet instead of the defensive item.

With that Kog'Maw, it's important to do as much damage as possible while your W is active. While it's cooling down, use your ult for hitting enemies at a safe range or Auto-Attack anyone who walks within range. DO NOT walk into a fight once your W ends so you can keep using your auto-attack unless the fight is going VERY well. Use your spells until the W cooldown comes back up. Kog is VERY dependent on proper positioning.

He's one of my favorites, definitely, so I'm happy to give advice to people asking for it. He's a very potent ranged carry that only gets better as his opponents get tankier.

Really, one of the best ways to learn the game is to watch some livestreams and see what the top-tier players are doing. I'd suggest checking this list every now and then for a guy named "TreeEskimo." He explains EVERYTHING that's going on. Why he's doing the thing's he's doing, what is risky, what is safe, what he expects the other team to be doing and when. He's just awesome at helping people learn to play.
