Mafia REBORN - Day 2

A shadow moved through the village.

I do what I have to do, because nobody else will.

Glancing around him quickly, the shadow snapped through the door's lock and stepped into the house of his target. Nice place, too nice. Normal payrolls couldn't afford this kind of gig. Ashe was hiding something, it was obvious.

These people are good, but they're blind to the truth. They don't see what I see - they can't.

The door to Ashe's bedroom creaked open. A shadow crept over the sleeping figure. Then a hand came down, stifling the gasp that would have followed. Another hand tightened around Ashe's neck. There was a struggle, but the shadow held strong, waiting until the kicks weakened and then finally stopped.

I'm not the hero MURDERVILLE deserves ... but I'm the one it needs right now.

Kami looked down upon his kill, proudly. "Now to find some evidence ..."

A voice from behind him replied: "You won't find anything."

The Vigilante tried to turn around, but the knife had already pierced through his chest.

"Really ... what a moron. Did you really think we wouldn't find you?" The assailant twisted the knife, eliciting a scream from Kami. "You could have made a real mess of things. We've been watching you ever since you left your house. Really, such an amateur."

Kami gasped as his life trickled away. "Who ... are you?"

"Like I owe you that." The knife twisted again. "But I'll admit, you've made things significantly easier for us. So I'll do you a favour, and show you how professionals do it."

The knife slid up, and out, in one fluid movement. Kami fell forward, next to Ashe. For better or worse, the town's two biggest wildcards were out of the game.

Ashe is dead. He was a townsperson, and the Shit Stirrer. He could lynch a player of his choice if, at the end of a day phase, there was no majority vote on a single player.

Kami is dead. He was a townsperson, and the Vigilante. He could kill once per night, with the caveat of a 1 in 4 chance of being discovered and revealed to the entire town.

^ Within this group, I'm certain we have most of our Mafia (obviously Whompt is dead as balls). I just want to reference their voting habits from yesterday as evidence of this. At this point, I would have asked the Vigilante or the Shit Stirrer to take one of them out in order to prove my point, but it looks like it falls to us now.

So let's get started before they have an opportunity to do us any more grief.

Or Waff and Sig are working together and Leo is mafia with them. Let's recap, shall we?

Ok, Leo starts by saying he's not mafia, JUST KIDDING I'm a townie. Interesting, you're NOT mafia, kidding, but a townie? That's like, triple negating negatives. He required further investigation. Luckily, my plan worked yesterday to stir shit up and provoke responses from most of the players. Unfortunately, some decided that my methods were incorrect, so we lost three townies instead of lynching a mafia. BUT, that's ok. I found out Leo was mafia from Rose, because that's what I do, so it was just a matter of putting the pieces together.

Waff has a disease called "Anti-Doe" syndrome, where he must get Doe killed in every game he's in. But this game is different. At first, I thought he was the shit stirrer, and was going to gun me down after a no-lynch day was reached. Evidence was not voting for Sigfried OR Cringle during the first day, instead keeping a vote against Jarka and would get his chance to kill. However, turns out Ashe was the stirrer of the shit, so now my thoughts are that he's mafia. He was playing it safe, not risking being lynched for starting another vote against me.

I'm certain he'd argue that, because I've been mafia so many times before the odds are highly against me being it a fourth time in a row, or that he's just a townie and is playing to win. But then we come to the defense of Sigfried. Once Sig started getting some votes against him, he actually urged us to stop voting for him and instead vote for Jarka. He played it off as a joke, but I'm seeing past it. Waff also called Sig an "innocent townsperson" even though he stated twice that he was a role. Hard to be just a townsperson when you have a special role isn't it?

As well, his vote against Cringle is quite random in of itself. He expressed no interest in voting for Cringle the last phase, why the sudden shift? Simple, because he was, next to Sig, the highest voted. He figured it'd be easiest to lynch off somebody who already had a good number of votes against him. What better way to start it than by using your prosecutor powers, starting the day with a double vote? Oh shit, this Waff guy is SRS BSNS, we should vote too. No no, not quite.

Then we're back to Sigfried. When he first mentioned that he had a role, to be honest I thought he was a defense attorney or a prosecutor. But, since both of those have been revealed, I'm pretty sure he's mafia. I'll be sure tomorrow.
