Diet and exercise. Mostly cardio, like jogging. I'm also doing the South Beach, and my carb intake has decreased dramatically.
EDIT: I'm dieting and exercising because at the start of this diet I was pushing nearly 600 pounds, and if I kept this up I'd die at the age of 25. So, instead of death, I took the option of suffering through a low-carb diet and some 15-minute exercise. It sucked at first, but I feel a lot better for it.

Nicely done. I've kinda backslid from my exercise routine since I started working, need to get back on that shit. It helps that I'll be unemployed again in 3 days >_> which is a huge like.

I lost 30 lbs by not eating vegetables and playing a lot of video games.
But really I'm not gonna lie, I have the least amount of appetite ever. Some days I even forget to eat until I'm about to faint. It's not as awesome as you think, I have to deal with almost blacking out while in the shower pretty much every time I take one. It varies on how bad it gets (just dizzy, or a full blown black out), and sometimes even eating beforehand or keeping the bathroom well-ventilated doesn't prevent it. My doctors have done all kinds of tests, but they have no idea why I consistently get dizzy in the shower and have to sit down, or pass out. I'm starting to wonder if maybe it's not just because I don't eat enough. :/ Oh yeah, and hate: passing out in the shower all the time.

I've been 150 pounds for about five years now. Never really fluctuated beyond 3 pounds of that weight. I keep pretty active (though I've lost the exercise swing with this new job; I still need to figure out how I'm working that one), and do the obvious, like drinking water instead of sodas, and eating veggies and grains instead of pure fat-shit.
And the whole vegetarian thing. Milk Bubble Wrote:I lost 30 lbs by not eating vegetables and playing a lot of video games. I get this from time to time. Haven't in about a year now, but I used to. I'd have to sit down real fucking fast, or I might crash through the glass door, or land with the small of my back on the metallic sliding-door guide (which sucks. Somehow didn't tear it up, beyond some skin abrasion, but the metal guide was irrevocably bent to shit). I was told hydration. *shrug* ![]() Mal Nova Wrote:I do apologize for using the word rape. Like: New Phyrexia confirmed for the third set of the Scars of Mirrodin block. That said, the video is phenomenal and I really like the teasing they did with Karn "Father of Machines" and "The infectors have become the infected, the heart of Mirrodin burns within them as we are now one!". The whole part where Karn's standing up and its like "Savior!" in the Mirran voices and "Destroyer!" in the Phyrexian voices was pretty epic as well. Can't wait to see what they do to corrupt the (formerly) pacifist Planeswalker Golem Karn.

Speaking of, I have to ask about the fat thing. The more I think back on what I ate, and what I eat now...am I supposed to be grossed out? When I objectively think of the texture of how greasy some of the crap I ate was, I genuinely feel nauseous. Is that just a personal thing, or is that physiological thing where my body begins to reject all the toxins I put in it subconsciously?

My fiancee is a health food freak and she won't touch food from certain chain restaurants (KFC, McDonalds, etc) because she always says she feels ill afterwards, even after one meal. When I'm not in my healthy mode (which, unfortunately, is now), I have a no problems with that deep fried rubbish, but when I start being conscious of food intake then I react the same way as Keren.

Your mind has a lot of power over your body. It's really amazing.

It's true, I watched this story on the news about how if you visualize eating a giant hamburger, like every single bite in great detail, so you trick your brain into thinking you did actually eat one, you will be less likely to have cravings for a giant hamburger or other "bad" foods/feel full somehow while trying to diet and lose weight.
