The night was long and restless. Through the night, Sleeptalkers ruled the Town. They conversed and babbled and generally were silly.

Morning came too early. A shriek filled the air, summoning the Town to a broken house. The door was battered and the windows smashed. But what laid inside was truly horrifying.

Within the ruined building was a dismembered corpse. In each corner rested a solitary limb, torn from the hanging body in the center. The man's innards were sliced, thrown asunder, and laid out in front display for all to see. Many could not hold their lunch, forced to retreat outside. The floor was painted with blood, spelling the name of the first Mafia's victim.

Now that the first night is over, I'm going to get this out of the way. I had an ability that let me investigate one person to know whether they are mafia or not. I now have no abilities whatsoever, but I can say with confidence that Kole T. Merr is not a mafia. That's all the information I have, since it was a one time use ability.

Given that I know he's not, and I don't know Rose's role, I'm going to put my current stance as Lynch Rose.

Ugh... sure would suck to be out of the game early again. You know, after the last couple times when I was wrongfully lynched. I know claiming past actions in an effort to defend myself now isn't relevant to the case at hand, but still. It kind of sucks to watch the game from the outside until it finishes.

Anyway, if this turns out the way I think it will, I just want to wish everyone a good game and good luck in finding the mafia. Atleast your chances will be better with me gone.

It happens. I had a good time anyway. I just wish there was some concrete way of defending oneself in this game. I mean, what exactly could I say here that would make people think "Oh, he can't be mafia. He just dissuaded my suspicions"?

In the end, all you can really do is try not to be suspicious, and at the same time try not to seem like you're trying not to be suspicious.

Your issue is you don't jump on bandwagons, you start them, imo. People feel a sense of retaliation and particularly mafia tend to jump at anything they know for sure is a townsperson. Unfortunately, with the lack of votes on anything else, this doesn't clear your name Whompt. Hope this will help you in your next game though. Speaking of bandwagon:
