This will proceed in two stages lasting 24 hours each. All persons who wish to be considered as a wildcard will post here (once and only once), making an argument as to why they should be selected. There should be no other posts during this period. Any posts I deem frivolous will be deleted.

Once 24 hours have passed, a poll will be constructed, and whoever wins by that will win the whole shebang.

NOTE: Your character need not be on Namek to be considered as a wildcard. If you win the wildcard slot, your chara will be given immediate and free travel to Namek.

Why should Mal Nova be considered for the Wildcard?

It's a tough explination, other then I want a second shot. Personally, I dont think the WIldcard should go to anyone that hasnt been in the tournament, but that's just me.

I've seen I have mistakes to correct, and I cant fix them off the rip. I choked up at the end of my first post and found myself unable to find the time to write the next post. The faults were of my own accord.

I want the chance because I believe that the more I work with others the better I can get. And if I give it my all... The others can give me the C&C I need to better myself even more...

Character-wise.... It'd make a bit more of an awesome story line for me... And more filler.... I wasn't able to give it my all last round... this round I want to if I can get it....

I would like to be given the wildcard if only because I would like to be given another chance. I didn't post my best in the tournament when I should have and it cost me an early elimination. As well, I would like to RP with any of the three remaining entrants because I feel that each of them would offer Doe a good fight (Belle was supposed to fight Doe in DA 09 but I didn't post enough and got eliminated, Alex is kinda like Doe but better written, and Oralis is an evil bastard and who doesn't love seeing evil bastards beat the shit out of each other?).

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I'm her on account of a very special young woman. Why, you may ask as you lean closer to your computer screen with anticipation. Well, as you may know, the tournament on Namek with the Japanese name I can't be assed to try and spell has a wildcard slot. This slot will be decided upon by the populace, so I have but a simple message, and that is:

Piper Juunanagou is fierce, headstrong, and has a soft spot for kittens, children, and slaughtering evil-doers. She has strawberry hair, soft emerald eyes, and pure, alabaster skin. Past experiences include: Blowing up things with her eyes, stabbing people, shooting people, and stabbing people whilst shooting them. Piper would <3 to do battle with all the remaining contestants, as her and Alex, you know, have guns. Her and Bell could have awkward time, because Piper has boobs. And Orsalis is a dirty changeling. We need to pummel those things more.

So, when you arrive at the ballot box, and you see that dazzling array of characters from which to select for the wildcard, I'd like for you to think Piper. Pick the wholesome, down-to-earth family gal who just loves to occasionally punch people in the face until they don't remember who they are. Remember! Together...

but, unlike most losers, I don't let my personal life interfere with my writing.

I'd rather the person who is the wildcard participant be someone who was already in the tournament. It would make more sense, IC-wise, for the hosts of this tournament to reinvite a former 'fan favorite' or something from earlier in the tournament to participate. It's like being 'saved' on American Idol and given a second chance. It doesn't make sense that the tournament company, or whoever is hosting, would fly someone in from earth, someone unknown to the fans, and drop them into the semifinal.

That's not what I was saying, I was saying that it makes more sense, IC, to take back someone who was already in the tournament and who was popular with the 'crowd' (had close voting).

I think it's kind of stupid that someone who didn't even participate in the initial rounds, the sign-ups, or anything related to the tournament at all can get bumped into the semi-finals and have a really good shot at winning when the rest of us had to work for it in some fashion.

But whatevs. If that's how this is going to work, that's how it's going to work.

There's three of us, give one of us a bye, the other two fight, and then the winner fights the guy who had a bye. The bye would be determined by random chance (one of those randomizers?). I also wouldn't be against a three way final.
