Mafia 5: Mafiocity DAY 3

"Another day on the field. Saving lives is harder than it used to be." The Doctor wiped his sweat away as he arranged his medicine. Neat and tidy did they line. It seemed that perhaps tonight would be fine. "Well, no harm in having a little fun tonight."

Reaching into a bottle containing little blue pills, the Doctor popped a few in his mouth and swallowed. He could feel the pills taking effect quicker than usual; TOO quickly. His heart burned, and he fell to his knees in pain. "Damnit... I was careless!" The Doctor collapsed to the floor, his medication scattered around his limp body. His final breath was quiet, succumbing to darkness.

Somewhere, the Mafia snickered, another successful kill!

Vad is dead. He was the Doctor, a townsperson who could save somebody from death each night.

On day one, we had the following people (of those still alive) post a number of times.

Significant things of notice:
- On day 1, Trafford comments "The struggle we face is akin to a hill, for we are 13 and 3 we must kill." This appears to be common sense, as we have a reduced number from the previous games, but on the other hand, we have no indication beyond pure assumption that there are fewer mafia this game than previously. Stating a definite like that very early on Day one before any info has been gathered is absolutely suspicious. That said, I do agree on the assumed number.

- Shane, Piper, and Trafford were all absolutely silent on Day 2. Jarka and Teemer only posted once, though I already know Teemer isn't mafia (and that's absolutely your call on whether to believe me or not).

- Shane and Piper have posted a total of 3 times in the entire event so far.

- On day 1, Trafford called for a lynch vote on Sigfried, who was revealed as a mafia by day's end. This could be a very smart play, or more likely a decent tell that he is indeed not mafia.

- On day 1, I asked a series of questions. Piper had some very interesting answers to them: 1 - In the end, there will be the gaping maw of eternity.
2 - If I were a beverage, I would be Mountain Dew, and I'd made you fuckers taste my mountain.
3 - If I die to mafia tonight, my last words would be: "Haters gotta hate."
This is one of three total posts he's made this event, but made this post within ten minutes of my asking. Jarka also answered at the exact same minute with interesting answers.

- Despite the obvious call of Hooker being a mafia role on day 1, Whompt maintained his vote on Waffuru, while Shane voted alongside the lynched mafia for Jarka. Given that Sigfried was a mafia (and thus would have known who his teammates were), this may indicate Jarka's innocence. This may also point towards Shane's guilt. Leo maintained a vote on Rose. Rose blatantly hesitated on the vote for Sig, even after nearly all votes were turned in on him, staying active until it was majority and still not voting for anyone. He did call suspicion on Meer following Meer's Sig vote, who was killed by the mafia later that night.

- Rose has nicknamed himself a variety of things throughout the game, to include "martyr", "the rose avenger", "super detective", etc. Sig tried to call suspicion onto Rose on day 1, which might clear Rose's name. The person Rose suspected on day 2 was Shane.

- Vad died on night 2. Vad had voted for Whompt.

- Waffuru randomly called for the vote on Sig for day 1 before the comment came out of him being the Hooker. He pressed heavily from the beginning despite the attempted defenses. He was proven correct. On day 2, he pushed just as hard for Whompt.

- In Whompt's defense, Sig called for a lynch on him on day 1 at one point.

- One of Piper's three total posts was a lynch vote on me. However, he also called for a lynch on Sig.

- On day 1, Sigfried gave a list of those he suspected: "Whompt
Rose
Piper
Waffuru
Meer"
Not included on the list (and still alive) were Teemer and myself (I'm being fair and saying that's suspicious, despite knowing neither of us are), Jarka, Leo, Shane, and a few others. Leo and Shane never once voted to lynch Sig. Leo pushed for finalizing the vote on Whompt at the end of day 2. He makes this comment "People feel a sense of retaliation and particularly mafia tend to jump at anything they know for sure is a townsperson." right before then voicing his vote as also being Whompt, who he's using this reasoning to explain the votes on.

Long list of thoughts there, but I wanted to have my opinions open here. I think the two (if there are indeed just two) that I suspect the most are Leo and Shane. Those would be where I'd place my finger of suspicion. I'm also wary of some others (Piper and Jarka are decent candidates) but I think the info mostly adds up on these two.

Therefore, knowing I'm likely dead tonight, I want to lynch Leo.

How did your post conclude on me? It's a DAMN SHAME we didn't finish that vote on Whompt. We cannot afford to have bleeding hearts when lynching our fellow citizens in order to not die ourself. You tits must know this more than anyone.

That's because I wasn't even online on day 2. Hence why I didn't post in the wildcard thread for the namek tourney, even though I would have loved to have gained redemption in the tourney as a wildcard as I already mentioned.

I do believe that if the death was to occur, it would have to be a profitable one. It appeared like you were going to die, but votes pulled out. In the end, we lost our doctor and we're no closer to finding the mafia other than Shane saying I'm not one (I'm not!). It's all tits' fault and I'd rather we go to the bosom of the problem rather than twiddle with the nipples.
